husqvarna 701 enduro lr skid plate

The Rade Garage Skid Plate for the Husqvarna 701 enduro LR is a beefy skid plate with built in storage. This skid plate has side flanges that provide protection for your brake and shift pedals. Couldn't you mount the bracket on the bike and then mount the skid plate to it?

You sure could …it seems like you will need to secure the spacer piece to the bracket and perhaps add a couple weld nuts to the back of the bracket to make it bolt up…not a lot of room behind the bracket for a wrench otherwise.

Why is that scid plate so out of sink with the bike...?

I probably should have made it more clear. I found that if you fiddle with it long enough and you have a bit of luck, you can eventually get things lined up...eventually. But, I would always rather modify it slightly to make it easier to work on the bike. Also, those two bolts that screw into the threaded holes in the frame are easy to cross-thread when things are tight. By loosening up the setup I found my frustration went down, and so did my reassembly time. Thanks for asking!
