Husqvarna Automower - Power consumption

Examining electricity use and cost. It's cheap to run! At least in electricity. Probably less than £10 for most installations, but that could rise to £30 if the mower runs 24x7. Blades, servicing and the occasional new battery will add to the cost, of course.

Thanks for the analysis, super interesting. I was surprised how little it costs to run for a full year. Are there any downsides to running in Eco Mode?

I don't think so. Certainly haven't come across any, almost 5 years on. Mine needed a new battery towards the end of last season, so budget for the every four years. Not cheap. Something like £200 for a Husqvarna one. £50 for a third party version but look for one with good reviews. Straightforward DIY job (look for KZbin videos) but you should replace the chassis sealing strip when reassembling (less than £10, easy job, but again check videos). I've had no other expense except blades. Decided against servicing but I do take the cover off, clean it and check it over every month or so.
