It was my second, and it's been about 2 years since I did the other one. Seen a lot of machines in that time frame to where I didn't remember how these went.

Awesome four-wheel drive mower thank you for the video

I would have started with pressure washing that machine, if for no other reason than to be able to see what was going on. I’d bet that hole in the belt cover was what led to the failure. I would never send it out without replacing or repairing that cover. A scrap of PETE plastic and some plastic welding technique would have done a reasonable job. Try to remember we can’t see through your head! 😉🔧👍

That looks just like the one that I have my AWD Husqvarna is expensive equiped with the Honda 190cc engine had to replace the blade bolt Husqvarna sent me a new one but I don't like it so I went And put a grade 8 bolt in place of the cheap one that Husqvarna sent me

I had one of these come my way few years back, except it didn't have a bag I ended up converting it to just RWD with a Used Beled after I removed all the pulleys. the pulley froze up on it also due to owner not cleaning under mower to keep grass out

Ellis you can definitely soak those pulleys in oil overnight and they will spin again. I liberally them down one time with PB blaster and let them sit overnight and they were all good. Definitely they will seize again even if you buy them new so I think it’s a waste of time to replace them.

The one I replaced had a groove worn into it so it was bad anyways. I soaked these pulleys after I replaced that one and that seemed to help them.

@@EllisMowersandmore I saw the video where you replaced all of them and the belt and I was like wow $50?!

That was not easy. is 4 w drive worth it?

It's good if you are mowing steep hills going sideways especially. For flatter lawns, a regular self propel will work just fine.

No, it's a real honda. Husky doesn't use clone engines

Yes I saw later in the video the Honda logo on the valve cover. They didn't market it very much on this machine! Oddly enough I saw a Husqvarna rider with a Powermore on it yesterday. Didn't know they put Powermore engines on them.
