Yea I agree they are very problematic. Many of my videos have been about repairing these decks. I need to work on finding a replacement for the 42” decks now. Lol

Do you mean a Husqvarna? Everything lined up, I did t modify anything. Just used a complete Husqvarna deck on the Deere.

I have an old 1964 Simplicity tractor with a 42" deck ....I want to speed up the cutting blades so do I go bigger or smaller pulleys on the deck ? It has three blades and greaseable spindles. thanks

Sorry I have no knowledge of that and prefer not to try and give advice on something I don’t know anything about. I bet there are some good tubers with videos on that.

Hey good morning one question would a Hosquavarna engin will fit a John deer mower or do you have to do a lot of modifications

That all Depends if it’s the same engine. If it’s not the same model engine then yes absolutely modifications will be required.

Do you know which husky deck model numbers will fit under here? I have the same lawn tractor and the deck is shot but mower is still good

I don’t know the models of all the Husqvarna decks that fit. YTH models are some that work. Many are universal. Much like Deere, the Husqvarna machines share the same deck across many models. The only way this works is if it’s a 48” type that uses electric PTO. The 42” is another animal. Those use cable PTO and I have t tried swapping those yet. Deere 100 Series decks are trash.

No it won’t be a direct fit. Modification would be required. I would recommend not bothering with it. The assemblies are cheep just buy the right one.

Great job! Just got done with some extensive repairs on a L Series Deere Deck...WHAT A CHEAP POS! Husq Made decks are made so much better and I'm sure costs less too! Why doesn't Deere Prime Their Decks as as well as re-enforce the discharge side is beyond me!

I agree they should prime the decks. Especially considering the Deere Is Not one of the cheeper machines at home Depo but the worse paint job for sure

Do you want to cooperate? How will the bearings you have make my videos better? I mean, how could a bearing make the video better? That’s a strange thing to say. Mainly because I don’t think it’s possible to make my videos better. They are already totally awesome. In my opinion anyways. You have a factory? That’s cool. It’s a factory that makes bearings? That’s exciting. So is a sealed bearing okay to grease if the spindle has a zerk? Iv been wondering that. As it’s seems to be a major topic of discussion on my other videos and knowing you have a factory maybe your the guys that can answer that. I’m Excited about all of this!!!
