Great timing and video, just debating about a husky 75 or an 80. Got any comments on both?

You can undo the 3 screws on the starter and mount it rotated using the other holes on the starter. Don't know if that helps, but maybe give it a try.

You should try a round bottom plate compactor, way better than the other small forward style plate compactors. Husqvarna makes one, the LX90. I switch to a Webber one and i am super happy with it. The best part is a the ability to grab it with the tilt rotator gripper which is not true of most small plate compactors, though it looks like the one you using was designed right.

I have seen those used in Scandinavia but have never seen one in the UK. The design is great for use in confined areas, trenches etc but also not great for anti vibe if you use it on larger areas. Definitely a machine worth owning for some situations, but I cant say I've ever thought I could really do with one of those right now!

I actually find mine to have very good anti vibration. I also feel like it does more compaction then my old wacker 1550.

@@villageearthwright Maybe I should give one a go then. I've never seen one in the UK before but sure I could probably buy one from somewhere. Where else other than trenches do you find it useful over a traditional design? And what one do you have?

I will do in time, when I have learnt to drive it properly and have got it on a job where I can really showcase it. Its currently acting as a forklift/ wheelbarrow for me which is great but not very exciting to film!

I wonder if the stock handle can be cut down and remount the vib handle kit to it so its not as bulky? A bit of a mod if you will. would have to see the kit.

Possibly, but really these things should have this anti vibe stuff built in! Especially from a company such as Husqvarna.

Thats not a proper Husqvarna product, the way to go is Swepac 85 or 95 expensive but really good.

Its got their name on the side and they are selling it on their website! And as such I feel should be better than this. The Swepac gear is lovely, but no dealer in the UK unfortunately
