Do you oil the pre-filter?

It's not specified if it is needed or not in the manual but I don't think it will hurt anything if you do. Hopefully this helps, thank you for watching!

Are you 100% sure about installing the pre-filter with the mesh side up?

I removed mine and it also was mesh side down. Manual said to oil foam filter but I never did also
