while the KTM folks did not elaborate the reason for this, an insider told me that it was somehow expected for BS6 models given that their exhaust configurations are more restrictive to be euro5 (or was it euro6) compliant. i will be able to confirm when i get the chance to try out the new Duke200 BS6 if this is true being the same as the new svart200

I opted for the svart 200 when the huge price cut was announced. Anyway I was looking for this kind of setup since I want to retain svart's stock aesthetic kaya balak ko rin mag install ng 401 stock pipe. Btw sino nga may ari nito? I don’t have the answer for you sir, pero looks like pwede naman. But if you will ask me, I would probably remove the cat altogether to give it back the nice acceleration it should have when it was used by the Duke in previous gens.

no for both. conventional pa rin po. ABS lang po nadagdag sa kanya. the ride by wire and slipper clutch is in the 401 variants po, sadly none in the 200.

according to the owner, he was able to buy a stock 401 muffler from his friend who changed his 401’s muffler to an aftermarket.

no 250cc will be released in the Phil. we will only have the 200 and 401 models.

basic maintenance po, same same lang ng Duke200. change oil about 2k pero service interval is every 3000 to 5000 kms. so okay lamg. yung parts lang po ang mahal.
