May I join the echo chamber of praise, please? Outstanding cinematography once again, but what may not be immediately evident is the time and energy spent genuinely researching and understanding this brand and product, it’s history and modern interpretation. Even more amazing is your unflappable insight required not to stop at the obvious, and denounce the rig as an over-priced style play. And lastly the effort in your writing is clear. The viewer has to hang on every word, because there is no filler. Every turn of phrase precisely chosen, steeped in meaning, and connections made throughout, with callbacks and subtle humor. If I were to ask anything of your talents however, it would be variety of tone. This is the second Hollywood quality production I’ve seen from you that seemed to combine the elevated version of the Twilight zone narrator with the Sin City aesthetic as a backdrop to the artful execution of a motorcycle review beyond compare. The description on the dvd might read: “It’s a dark city in the middle of the night. It rained an hour ago, but a young Joe Friday is trying to forget about something, and once again blowing off steam on a new machine, and he notices a few interesting things. His mind wanders through the history of it, and how it is now. The late summer night becomes a new adventure, And he want to tell you about it.” You have more. I know that is in you. And I look forward to seeing it. Still, a great video.

I’m curious. A series of remembrances leave me wondering. I remember when Fortnine was an online motorcycle gear marketplace. I remember about 2014/2015 a series of product reviews came to KZbin featuring Ryan F9 as host. I remember this guy had a unique way of telling the truth yet still directing viewers to Fortnine. I remember Ryan would even respond or comment to questions or with a cool comedic whip. I remember when subscribers even became part of the program (you do look some like Joffrey Baratheon). I remember as subscribers and viewership grew a great interaction between host, viewer, product or location and truth seemed to merge into a seamless interaction as if you were there along a ride or chatting on a couch. I remember when production $$ grew and incorporated incredible Ariel footage of beautiful scenery on a ride with the 4K drone. I remember when crash test “scientific” reviews seem to stop and crash. I remember when motorcycle reviews became epic near full on productions mostly at night. I remember in corporate management, growth meant change and to beat competition meant staying ahead of change which would inherently increase growth but could loose or weaken the core structure which made you competitive, that was the “risk” of change. Therefore, I am curious. In my series of remembrances, the one thing I can’t remember... is when I bought anything from Fortnine’s website. (Now imagine a really cool low lit night shot of me walking down a rainy alleyway pondering as the big city lights twinkle and halo in the distance yet I’m not in the city. I’m in a suburban alleyway next to a bar and an eatery with the city calling my name but my roots are local. My chin lifts up as the rain trickles across my brow as I look into the camera with thoughts of once was and where I should go from here. Cut scene as it shows me riding seemingly on the highway pointed in the direction of the city on my shit kicker Honda but proud just to be riding as .... my blinker lights up and flickers on and off the reflective exit sign in night rain... I say “I remember when... all that I have done and all that I will ever do will be remembered but from my home as everything I remember has always brought me there...”). Scene fades as I exit the freeway and head home.) I wonder...

It was announced that Rutger Hauer died today, and I happened to be watching some motorcycling videos. To see your tears in rain monologue today was just... heavy... Keep up the great work.

Got my motorcycle licence last month, and once I finish RCAF basic training I’m going to be getting a bike. A Svartpilen 401 to be exact. I never would have even considered a Svartpilen or Husqvarna in general if it weren’t for this video. Thank you Ryan.

The carefully chosen words just flow. The darkness makes it mysterious. Then the cinematography makes it borderline sexual. If you’ve got something to sell, call Ryan.

I've been watching a lotta moto mag and revzilla lately, and as much as i love those guys and what they do, coming back to rewatch a fortnine video seriously knocks them down a peg. What a hell of a channel

Oh HELL YES! The Vitpilen 701 is easily one of the most beautifully designed bikes I've ever seen. I'm a supermoto guy but damn everything about that bike is just... right. Even ignoring all the incredible 701 detailing throughout the bike and just paying attention to the headlight and taillight is enough to keep me staring. And that's not even getting into the performance and how Husqvarna continues to one-up KTM at their own game

It’s been years since this came out. It’s such a good video, it made me buy a 701, just so that I can say this video exists about my bike. This video alone made it worth it.

Simply nailed it! Yes, Husqvarna shares a lot with KTM. Like Husaberg before the re-marriage, there seems to be a room of Swedes at KTM that just refuse to allow the Austrians to miss the mark on performance and styling (duke, fine bike but only looks good from the cockpit and so half-measure performance-wise). Insightful review.

Ryan is a genius of the words... He packs all his opinions and impressions into the review and at the end gives you the freedom to form your own opinion without having influenced your opinion
