Decided to do exactly the same cat delete mod on my 2021 vitpilen after watching your video...got it installed today and I'm extremely happy with the result! Sound in the video doesn't even come close to doing it justice. The bike now sounds amazing and appropriate for its looks in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

If you want to improve the performance changing the air filter to a high flow filter helps too. You need then to re-map the ECU or use a power commander. I have taken my bike to a guy who super tunes motorbikes and he dyno tuned my bike, added a new complete exhaust system and a high flow air filter. These mods added 6 hp, but what a difference to the ride quality.

Thanks man ! Physical the bikes have the same ridehight but is different in engine power and balance in the bike. Yes ofcourse we can do a comparison video between them :)

I think with the db intact in the muffler it sounds just right now. I wouldn't even upgrade the exhaust itself at this point.

Thank you ! I dont know if it fits the 125cc bike. Even the new 401 has the exhaust under the engine instead due to the new Euro 6 restrictions.

I have almost the similar sound. But man, it's a one clynder machine it's annoying sometimes ( chop-chop-chop-chop ) not (TRRRRRRR). Vitpilen 701 with Nuda 900r exhaust sound would be CRAZYYYYY. I'm still thankful anyways. I ride the best motorcycle design I have ever seen ( it's 701 but still okkkk ,))))

Socket... It's called socket. Any change in performance??? Lean conditions??? 2018 and 2019 model have the exhaust pipe routed near air intake. This causes some heat soak problems in warm climates. May be using exhaust heat wrap should be a good idea (for a next video)... Nice work man...

@@UnboxMyLife I've tried to find the decat pipe for the 2020 model but no luck. 2020 model routes the exhaust downwards outside the frame to avoid heat soak issues. Also to avoid eventual ground clearance problems, they even use a flattened pipe. As a result exhaust sound sucks... This would have sense for the svartpilen but not for the urban vitpilen... Let's wait Leovince do something. Best regards!

Love the video. I have a slightly weird question - what is the ground clearance or height to the foot pegs from the ground? I will need to be able to transport a Svartpilen on my trailer and i found something to lock it in place called "Proworks Quickload Transport System", but they recommend the height of foot pegs to be around 320mm (12,5 inch). Could you perhaps measure the height on your Svartpilen so i can get an indication how high they are? And the width from one foot peg to the other, so i know how wide it is. Thanks! :)

Thank you for your support ! :) I will call it medium loud and you dont bother the surroundings if you dont wanna. The ECU took like 10km to really compensate for it, but know it runs fine and sparkplug looks normal ;)

Hi ! The Oxygen sensor sits on the downpipe so it is still there. I dont get any faults on the display. And i think its some difference in the up rpms like 7k.

it can get you a lot of performance and smoothness if you do those two mods and add a fuel controller like a coober ecu or a rapidbike evo.

The Honda isnt with me anymore but the Husky are..soo i think the husky has more caracter than the Honda. But i havent had any problem with them so they are both great bikes :)

Here in India, we get 250 svartpilens and vitpilens which also has the exhuast going from the under the body. That is not a bad idea, but ive checked sparkplug and it seems fine. But the bike will go on a service now and they also have a dyno. So maybe ill do a remap there :)

For city travel i like the Husky more because of the easy maneuverbility and the non existing fuel consumption :) But when the speed is ticking up over 100km/h the Strong 650 is getting remembered and its no problem to go highway speeds with it. That is a problem with the husky. Then the seat is much softer on the Honda aswell. But if i had the money i think i still go for Svartpilen because it stands out more and you get many eyes and questions on you what bike it is :)

@@fizuhasrin1923 I like them both. In the Honda you have nice Tourque and just a smooth ride but with the Svartpilen you have some action going on just all the time. And i just go short rides so the Husky suits me well. The honda is a better option for longer more comfortable rides.

Tjenare ! Den är riktigt trivsam för dessa pengar må jag säga. Dock kan jag tillägga att sadeln är relativt hård, så för mig så blir det rast var 5e mil typ. Sen börjar varvtalsindikatorn blinka i 130km/h vilket innebär att man ligger på ca 7000rpm då. Så att ligga 120km/h är väl ingen höjdare. Dock att köra 90-100 anser jag inte vara några problem :)

Great video! Really funny and informative. I wanted to follow up and ask what caused the noise at the end? I’ve heard that some of the frame mounting points are problematic or also the exhaust clamps themselves can be different size from OEM to aftermarket.

Remus and Akrapovic is really serious companies that do good exhausts. But i think a catdelete and keep the stock end silencer is a much cheaper operation and almost the same figures. But if you looking for sounds these companies does really good products :)
