For everyone interested: I got one and ive had it for about a year now. I‘m about 6ft1“ at 195ish lbs. The bike is absolutely amazing *in general*. Definitely not as simple to ride as your typical beginner bike. It doesnt feel anything like an R3, or even an RC390, it feels even more aggressive than that. The stance is quite flat so if you have weak forearms this bike might be hard to ride for you. In terms of performance its a blast. Power is available on tap and quite plenty for this little mad lad. However the front brake is just f*cking dangerous, not as in weak so that it doesnt stop well enough, but the OPPOSITE. Overestimate your input and the bike sends you flying over the front wheel, it’s devastating ffs, so just be careful with that lever, take it from me. The bike does have ABS but the front brake doesnt seem to care about that at all. Fuel economy is alright, Gearbox and everything feels crisp, quite tight and responsive, getting a lot of lean it is a little difficult tho because of how high up youre seating position is. In terms of reliability: Typical KTM. I have 2000km on the odo and i already had to send it in twice. The first time was even before the run-in period, fuel pump was cucked and there was a vacuum in the tank. Second time was the battery, fuel pump malfunctioning again sucking the battery dry without actually doing anything. Now it runs fine, only thing that happens very veeeery rarely is when you drop down into first while rolling the bike would just cut off. Jumps right on again tho. So my recommendation is: If youre under 6ft tall, get the Svartpilen, much easier to ride. Whichever you get: upgrade the fuel pump ASAP. (cheap ass china sh*t from the factory as always) Change the Mickey Mouse-ear Mirrors, theyre useless and vibrate to hell. Chabge the exhaust, no mather which one, just get an aftermarket pipe. The bike aounds like a sewing machine past 6k rpm when its not warmed up. (I‘m personally running a LeoVince system and i highly recommend it, other than that, Arrow, Remus, Comp Werkes are solid options aswell.) P.S.: Dont get the Akra, its a waste of money. With the DB killer in it its quiter than stock and without it the sound is very highly pitched. Sounds to me like they tried to eliminate theSingle cylinder characteristic and make it sound like a P2. Extremely out of place

Thought someone might be a little curious about a little history around the company: Husqvarna is a Swedish company founded back in 1689. The ones they are best known for are their sewing machines, chainsaws, but also other mostly different types of garden machinery and arms . In the beginning of 1900, they began to manufacture motorcycles. Their probably most famous model is the Silverpilen (silver arrow) which they produced in the 50s and 60s. Later, they began to concentrate only on motocross and endurance motorcycles, a large customer of these was the Swedish Defense Forces. In 2013, the motorcycle part of Husqvarna was bought by KTM. Husqvarna is an name (but it is spelled a little differently) of a town/village in Sweden where the company was founded and still has parts of its production, there is also a museum there about the company . There are many models of Husqvarna Motorcycles with the word Pil in, it means arrow in English. Vit means white and Svart means black. So the names are translated: White Arrow and Black Arrow

Grammar and spelling cops are such a drag clearly you understand the context what could you possibly gain from undermining someone's intelligence. Some of the most interesting and intriguing people with actually intelligent things to say that aren't harmful and counter productive are written by people who might not understand thw rules of writing but it should not and doesn't negate the fact that they are important. This is one of my biggest pet peves. Instead of enjoying this informative video by someone who's clearly knowable you choose to correct his pronouncing of a word thats not familiar or native to him. But still was able to cover the message. But captain hindsight overhear thinks its worth taking the time to insult this guy . Now I'm sitting here wondering wtf is wrong with people and all I was doing was enjoying this delightful video . I'm sorry but you're getting my load from past digressions but really in the same . Maybe you can spread the word . Who fucking cares . We get the picture . Not like he called an apple and orange
@szaszlo99583 жыл бұрын
@@jamiebizness1 I’m really sorry to hear that my comment seems to offend you. My intention was not to mock anyone over his pronounciation of a word which is not in his native language ( which also applies to me in this case, as I am not Swedish). If my guess is correct, you just watched this video and found my comment correcting Chase. However, you have to know that my correction was made regarding the original thumbnail and title of the video, which since had been changed. You can still see the original spelling of “Vitpilan” at 0:57 and in the description of the video, while everything else (thumbnail/title) since had been changed to “Vitpilen” by Chase. I understand you wish to defend the case that pronounciation of foreign words might not always be correct by non-natives, but the way you had written your comment pre supposes the idea that my and qKn’s only intention was shaming Chase, which is not what happened. You can also see this in Chase’s kind reply, acknowledging his spelling error and going out of his way to correct his mistake. I hope this clears some things up and that in the future, you first try to understand people’s intentions behind their correcting comments, rather than supposing the worst.

The brand you were looking for was Ferrari, my man...GM made the C8 look like a Ferrari.

Would this be too much for an absolute beginner who is 6 foot 175 pounds, or would my size and weight make it a good fit?

i bought mine about 10 months ago.Also my first "big" bike.I really love it BUT is really difficult to do the exam with it(the agility part).All the weigh goes to your wrist instead of your bottom,so, in order to turn the handlebar you have to hold your weigh making you more unstable. BUT i wont change it.I love it,specially if you put the passenger cover

Was so close to buying one of these But I couldn't justify the price when I could get an xsr700 for about the same Apparently they're a lot cheaper now so if I was buying a bike now would definitely go for the husky

Hey Chase what do you think of the honda cbr250rr and do you think honda should sell it in America? Personally I think it looks a lot better than the cbr300r.

To me singles and parallel twins all sound exactly the same. Some just a bit louder than others.

Hey guys, I'm very new to motorbikes. Is this a good bike to buy considering I'll be on highways a lot? I looked at the Honda CB300R as well but people were saying it's not great for highways but not sure. Thanks
