Guessed right, pinched and pulled boot off. Is it only the sound that clues you? I noticed you were looking in various places. Great job, even saved customer some money. Take care.

The saw started and ran for a second and died. Two things I wanted to check off the list were impulse line and intake boot. Couldn't remember what style impulse line it had but saw the boot was pulled out. Other possibilities would have been fuel filter, hole in fuel hose and blocked micro screen. Water in carb can sometimes act that way also.

@@TheGreasyShopRag oops meant to say I guessed…. I’ve watched long enough to know your experience and how your testing is done. Waiting for the next.

Another good repair vid Scotty. I remember making a repair on an old Homelite where the intake boot had become partially sucked in but it took me a little while to figure it out. Good stuff man, lovin' your content!

No mechanical or built in stops/ limits designed in by the Swedes on those mounts? Guaranteed that will happen again…

Ya gotta yank on it pretty hard to come apart like that. "So far" I've told the customers what I found and how it happened and I haven't had any come backs. Husky has a lot of smaller saws with questionable anti-vibe spring mounts.

choose which one is husqvarna t435 or stihl ms-194t, for the comfort and durability of the machine, as well as ease of maintenance of the machine and saw? thanks very much
@TheGreasyShopRag Жыл бұрын
I'm not going to be able to give you an honest answer. I'm not an arborist so I have no idea about comfort and I haven't seen enough 194s to make a fair comparison. Thanks for watching.

Might be a broken plug also .
@TheGreasyShopRag9 ай бұрын
I'm curious why you say that? It could have been a lot of things. Thats why I use a process of checking things off the list starting with the easiest stuff. The plug passed and I moved on until I found the intake boot problem. After fixing that the saw ran fine. Thanks for tuning in.
