On the main video I would like to know if it's worth ascending items that still need to be recrafted. If I break and recraft do I lose all the ascension mats?

Unfortunately yes, if you break an item down to rebuild it will destroy the ascension on it, but there are two things to note... If you break the item you do retain most of the ascension materials (like 90-95% roughly), so it's not the worst case possible. But if you want to retain everything you've put into the item, then I would build a brand new item and reforge into it, this will keep everything as before and only cost a little more in mithril.
