Oh yay! I love these videos of yours. I use to be one of those people who really disliked resellers (I was of the mindset that thrifting should be only for the people who are struggling for cash instead of resellers.) but you’ve honestly helped me see that you guys work to keep things out of the landfill. So thanks for putting yourself out there and showing us the good that comes from reselling :)

From someone who’s had bed bugs in the house, sprays that are pet safe - they hate peppermint and cedar essential oils. Mix with water in a spray or diffuse bottle and go to town. Killed what we had and I still do it every so often.

In the past when i used to source 2nd hand clothing, I had a zippered clothes rack that i could hang the newly acquired items. At the bottom I ran a smaller ozone generator for generally a few hours. Outside of course for safety and general purpose was to remove any possible smells and to sanitize the items. Afterwards i would remove cover and “let them breathe”. I have been told this is also effective with eliminating any spiders, bed bugs, or other insects. Some care needs to be had with some items like rubber and natural dyes, maybe elastic?? But i never had any issues that I can remember. This method could be scaled or modified as needed. First learned of this use myself from reselling used cars and putting the generator inside with the windows rolled up overnight to remove cigarette smells. Yes it was a while ago lol

If it’s hot where you live, I learned a little trick along time ago, bag your used items and keep them in your truck for a full day, so that it gets hot enough to kill any bugs, if it’s not super hot outside, put everything in the dryer asap for 20 minutes on high. The dryer trick came from a exterminator.
