Great Goodwill shopping spree. I was a single parent of twins and virtually everything we owned came from Goodwill. Now that my daughters are on their own, they thank me for teaching them how to live on the cheap. When they visit me in Southern California, they don't want to go to Disneyland, they want to go to the Goodwill that has $2oo jeans for $10. Last time, one of them left with 8 pairs of designer jeans.

I admire your tenacity! The most I can handle is an hour at the outlet store, trying not to get trampled by the masses when they roll out the new bins. Your brand knowledge is so impressive! While I occasionally pick up something special that many others have overlooked, I do wonder how many treasures I pass by because I just don't know the brands. That’s Odd there’s always people at my Bins that bring IKEA bags. But a great pro tip to use the next time you go is to just take one of the totes from out of the bins and put your items inside of that then when your ready to check out just say your not purchasing the tote or bag you used to carry the items you were gonna buy . You could even offer to put it back in a random bin .

Btw, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Goodwill outlets. I have one 15 minutes from my house and thankfully, a couple of people I know from High School volunteer there so they let me bring in my own bags. It is addicting, I wish I could afford to go every day but I have a full time job and cannot afford to do it daily, so I go every Saturday after the gym.

Bins just came to my town. Two words: Nitrile gloves. You found some great items. Amazing how you know brand names. I'm careful buying denim or canvas. Because they're heavy they can be more expensive than when they were at regular Goodwill.

We have a Goodwill chain in Canada. I used to work for the Goodwill Career Centre in Chatham, ON, 🇨🇦 which was also connected to the retail store. In Canada, when items don’t sell, they use a compactor machine and squish the clothing items into a large square. It then gets shipped over to third world countries for those individuals who need clothing. Ideally, most clothes & shoes do not end up in landfills but they don’t ship over garbage items (dirty, stained, holes, etc.), so those items unfortunately do 😢

This is the location I go to. You can bring the ikea bag in there they don't mind. You forsure have to be there at open for a cart. Saturdays have been chill first thing in the morning.:)
