That type of antenna work if you have the same setup with the ground and the mounting tub make it 10 feet tall and install the antenna so it can be higher

Very interesting antenna set-up. Keep us posted on how well it preforms. I myself use the WRC due to HOA and I wanted portable, but this Hustler antenna seems like a nice step up from the WRC if you have a QTH that allows it. 73

It works very well. Like all verticals, it does give you a lot of noise on the receive end, but it transmits very well, especially when it comes to DX.

How are you liking the hustler, i saw on your QRZ you have DXCC, is that with the hustler? Im a mostly blind ham looking for a good DXing antenna, I am on 2 acres but have tons of trees too much for a tower, so I was considering a vertical or sorts. Thanks and 73..

The Hustler is a great antenna for DX for sure, easy install, easy tuning and not an eye sore. I used many antennas over the years so that DXCC may be from multiple antennas. The one thing about a vertical is you need a lot of ground radials, and also a it does not receive as well as a horizontal wire and introduces noice.
