Huun-Huur-Tu (Хүн Хүртү) - Kargiraa (2002) (2020 Restoration)

The vocals featured in Huun-Huur-Tu's Kargiraa (Kargyraa) were not done justice by the microphone used in Jazz oder Nie 2002. I took it upon myself to reveal the true power hiding in Kaigal-ool Khovalyg's voice.

How did you manage to make the audio sound this much better?

I employed a few audio engineering techniques to compensate for the original microphone used in the video. I effectively "brought out" the frequencies buried in the original mix.

is there an octaver as well as your audio techniques? it sounds like there is added bass to it that sounds as if an octaver was used in your process

I did a few things, but an Octaver was not one of them. I did however raise the original bass signal.

there is no back voice, unless you're referring to his throat singing, which gives the illusion of two voices.

I don´t really like this filtered voice. Just like there is two singers and the other sings off tuned. Overtone sounds weird, too. :)
