An inspiration. Infact I wanted to know what effects he used to get that great guitar sound n low and behold I had one of them. The zoom Gx1 multi effects pedal. Incredible I bought it for £15 from cash converter. But a guy like him doesn't or didn't need expensive equipment to sound great. I heard one of his interviews and he was just a straight up decent man. Talent and a decent guy...rare these days.

Allan Miller back in those days Huw used a Roland Space Echo for his trademark echo/chorus tone. Huw didn’t use overdrive pedals, just a cranked tube amp, very often a Peavey Heritage 212 combo. He was a real craftsman and a true master of the guitar. I used to work for Peavey UK and helped Huw by loaning him amps and a small pa for some of his solo gigs. Like you say, a lovely guy.
