This was one of the earliest stories done on the channel. At this time, the sound engineer and I were in the same room and the whole thing had a very different feel. Accordingly, the art was much more raw. I would like to recapture this feel again.

An excellent production. Gripping. Can't fault it. Brought back memories of a Melbourne that barely exists now. The cafes in the CBD with booths and mini juke boxes on the tables. The corner pubs, (The Dan), the big police men with white gloves, the dingy "little" streets that only the garbos went down. Spencer street station, Fitzroy Lions. Nice twist at the end, but not wholly unexpected. Thanks Huw.

Interesting. I agree with a previous comment which said it was reminiscent of The Tell Tale Heart. And yes, with a bit of Vincent Price added in. The story itself starts at a very high point of tension and remains mostly high throughout, without wavering. While this produces very strong feelings, sometimes tension followed by more tension with no reprieve cancels itself out. The scary music in the background is effective. The stress in your voice towards the end was disturbing. Not sure that I liked the emoting of the act of murder. I suspected that this story could not end on the "it was all a dream" excuse. And of course, the dude has... well, I won't give away the ending. Good reading !
