It still amazes me after 30 years in this industry that clients don't get a good PM program can save you so much $ and also save power consumption

Rookie Refrigeration, I see that store doesn't have any service company on a maintenance contract....Also, good troubleshooting practices on your part on not resetting any of the safeties right off the bat. It's always best to let your multimeter tell if the safety is tripped, not the reset button. Good work. That store needs to set up a preventitive maintenance contract.

the vents above meat case where you put temp probe, I have seen clogged, but not common, I am just learning HVACR however I been a meat cutter almost 30 years, very familiar with everything other than new style digital control, I miss the old mechanical controls. now it has a control panel that all units are hooked to

That poor condensing unit. The grocery business just doesnt understand PM's do they.
@dino.w21894 жыл бұрын
Totally agree Had a client today call and cancel their PM indefinitely but hey they are still open and trading Anyway come summer here I will make the money back and more so silly
@tthack844 жыл бұрын
And when you do it will probably be a overworked fan or compressor that gets murdered. Just add a yearly pm to the bill.

I bought a melnor gutter cleaning wand off of amazon, for cleaning coils. It is perfect for coil cleaning. Check it out, around $20.

Looking at that pattern of dust on the coil i would think the fan blade may need to be moved. Perhaps not.

I have to get my condenser cleaned next pm that dust that rolled into Texas few weeks ago plugged up our condenser outside I climbed the roof and its plugged and it's all dirt and sand unit is located on a platform on 2nd floor or I should say main floor of house.
@heavydiesel4 жыл бұрын
Amazed the fan doesn't have a guard on it, don't think it would be allowed here. Was that an old valve plate on the floor below the condenser?
@rookierefrigeration43574 жыл бұрын
heavydiesel yes and yes
@jphvac57254 жыл бұрын
I’d say only about 10-20% have a guard on them when inside condensers like that. I’ve hit my fingers on blade soo many times it’s crazy!!
