I have had 2 H10’s and they work great. They require more maintenance and up keep. They’re also more expensive to repair. I prefer the Stratus as of right now for my needs. Pinpointing a leak is more accurate with the stratus

it is called false positive. h10pro in small setting is reacting to the slightest fart.

The units work with R-22 too?

Frankly, I hate that thing. 1. In the small mode it is making a lot of false positive signals, it was beeping at a candy wrap 2. It has 4 feet long tube from the sensor. Maybe I am the rookie, but I never could pinpoint the leak with h10pro, either one has to move it very slowly or give up 3 One has to constantly adjust those knobs. 4. It is huge. That is why I am happy that I have Testo 316-3. Easy, fast and reliable. I still cant understand why I keep h10pro :)

I appreciate your approach. I can't tell you how many times I've butted heads with my boss who's a "veteran" refrigeration guy. No joke, he insists on going to the condensing unit first, will not enter the cooler. My approach is that I must first verify the fans are running, no ice on coil, thermostat calling, and solenoid is energized before going up top.

So i have a issue, 8 can't find a leak on an ac unit 2.5 ton. I did a pump down and them pump niteogen into the systems 225 pounds of nitrogen it came down to 223 in an hr, used bubbles to check for leaks didn't see anything or hear anything it stopped at 223 psi. I also checked my gauge for leaks also and didn't see anything. I never used this, so my question is should i use it?

Do I need heat trace on my walk in drain? It’s only about 1’ of piping before it goes outside. It has 3/4” insulation on it now.

What is that orange cord that is run near the drain? Is that heat trace?
