Ah he’s back! The good ole hvhacker is back online. I’ve been waiting for him to post a video. Glad to see he’s back

Sorry I haven’t been uploading lately. I started a lawn renovation, then found out my downspouts in 5e front were all plugged, then found all the pipes were cracked, crushed, and fittings busted apart. Therefore I have been digging out all the downspouts. And new trench to send a few that went under the front steps that are crushed from the walkway breaking off the steps and sinking. Lots of work still underway, and running out of time, to get it all down so I can get the grass seed down. Doesn’t help I have solid clay soil with giant rocks everywhere. Also working every night with my daughter in kindergarten on her classes and homework. Lots of recordings of jobs with no time to go over. Why my last few weren’t long jobs

@Noah Jaziel i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Does that strap on the meter have a magnet in it? Because it's a good idea.

Yes it has a magnet and comes in handy at times.

Looked like the mildew down here in hot humid Louisiana, where some people pressure wash it off their sidewalks and driveways every couple of years, after the concrete gradually turns black. Before AC, inside the homes would mildew. In the summer at sunrise, water is actually dripping off my roof. The lawn is wet, like it just rained. You can't cut the lawn until after 10, when it finally dries, so wet grass doesn't stick to everything.

Kinda late with my comment but I’m working on a Trane Voyager rn having the exact same issue. As soon as the time delay ends and the unit tries to kick on the breaker on the low side of the tx trips. I noticed that the contactor controlling the condenser fan motors isn’t pulling in. Unit is calling for cooling Compressor comes on but kicks off on hp of course. I also smell a mechanical burning smell coming from inside the units electrical panel but I can’t find an issue when I check the components for resistance. Scratching my head please help.

I’ve had this same problem here in south Florida, with that 206 high voltage coming in even when I put my transformer on the 208 terminals I still got 22 volts on the secondary side, that low secondary voltage causes a high amp draw on start up and kept blowing my fuses, burning out my contractor coils or my contractors sits there half way pulled in. My remedy was to add a 40 VA transformer to the system. I removed the 24 volts lead going to my second stage contractor and plugged that transformer directly into that contractors coil, I then break the common 24 volt side of the transformer with a 90-340 relay and plug my 24 volt from my contractor into the 90-340 coil to energize that circuit. That stage 2 contractor coil is a huge load, but that 90-340 is a lot less. I’ve had no problems since I’ve been doing it this way.

Two (2) tests to confirm low voltage resistance/open/short/etc (even recreate the problem) on low voltage readings would be #1 first or another test: Multimeter probes :from low voltage load i.e fan/compressor transformer one lead of Multimeter- other lead on the suspect circuit line that has the load. If the voltage meter shows voltage, from positive to positive, it means there is a resistance, the power will use your meter as a path if it does not have an adequate path through the circuit. #2 invest in a low voltage amp probe www.amprobe.com/product/mo-100/ M0-100. This MO-100 tool would allow you to utilize the battery operated power of the tool (isolating the transformer power) and check the complete low voltage circuit for resistance/measurement errors and connection issues and with a wide range of values. #3 as a precaution/ min always test my tools with other tools carry 2-3 multimeters. * See low voltage problems when techs etc overload low-voltage circuits with too many devices on the transformer. i.e.damper motors, UV lights, and photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) air purifiers, etc. Lastly take care of your tools DONT throw your TEST leads around how you start getting inaccurate readings. Would replace those FLUKE leads you bent on the condenser fan.
