Amazing voice! Hvorostovsky sings so silently, his voice like liquid gold, it's a wonderful thing to listen to pleasure. The tenor (?) almost hurts the ear with his registers, it wasn't a good job for the German singer - ... but the baritone is a rest, a miracle that lives in Hvorostovsky's throat ... Dear Maestro, I'm so missing! Dmitri forever!

Hvorostovsky has no more persuasive advocate than frufruj but you are certainly not alone in your admiration of his considerable talent. The world first saw this genius in the Cardiff competion and he has never failed to live upto that promise of greatness. As always, the public are right and the self appointed critics and arbitors of vocal rectitude are wrong. The box office is never wrong!! Keep up the good work....I have just seen the Trovatore duet with Fleming........wonderful!!!

You Tube certainly seems to be some sort of home for vocal experts and voice coaches etc.. I am surprised that they have time to comment here ....with all those students clammering for their time and expertise!!! The phrase that comes to mind is a little crude for a channel devoted to the uplifting art of singing.....a four letter expletive preceding the word "them". Keep the clips coming frufruJ. Us regular guys enjoy them!!

Vor 10 Jahren enstand dieses schöne Duett in Moskau. Jonas Kaufmann gefällt mir auch hier. Er singt aber nicht höher als Hermann Prey. Dmitri Hvorostovsky sang wunderbar. Da war er auch noch gesund.

@bodiloto Yeah, I know nothing about singing, just like 99% of people around opera, I'm just desperately in love with DH so that I don't hear how terribly he sings. Thank you for opening my eyes. Maybe you could save his career by offering your teaching services to him, I'm sure he'll be glad. Also you should write to all music magazines and opera houses, somehow *nobody* there - critics, singers, conductors - seems to understand what a dilettante DH is. Thank you for your effort on YT.
