Swipe down from your main screen and you will see a menu with the call button in the top left corner...the bottom left corner has an icon with a music note in the watch. Tap it and it will change to a music note in a phone icon. Then you sounds will be back on your phone or ear buds

Hmmm, once your phone syncs up with the watch, it should match up how the phone is set. I don't have my watch anymore. I had given it away.

There is no option for text notifications from regular SMS messaging. They have notifications for WhatsApp and all of this other stuff
