Hwange Lioness being attacked by a pack of Hyenas

Grace the lioness (Cecil's mate) and their adolescent cubs being attacked by a pack of Laughing Hyena's in Hwange National Park - Zimbabwe in November 2013. This happened quite close to Davinsons airstrip and was an emotional sight to see. After we arrived back in the UK, I was informed by our guide Livingstone that she had survived the attack - albeit with a broken ear, but had rejoined her pride and is still doing well and has since had new cubs (Sept 2015)

Really don't think that lioness survived the guide most likely just wanted to make a happy ending. The video stops right at the moment when the hyenas started to rip her apart, the lioness lost all her stamina. The only way to survive this would be if a male lion would appear but that is really unlikely in that situation.

Lol, these are documentaries, not movies. They have most heart wrenching footages. Neither they interfere nor they fabricate stories. Her name is Grace and this happened in Hwange national park zimbabwe. The name of pride's male is cecil. This story is well covered.

This is amazing footage. I couldn't bear to watch all of it. I had never seen the predator as prey. Will root for the lions every time!
