Love watching you do these (endless) repairs and really love your off-roading excursions! That being said, if it were not for the fact that you are creating great youtube content, I'd say to junk that rust bucket. But it is great content, and I can't wait to see you send this old Jeep once again!!

Believe me it wasn’t for the content I can get I would scrap it
@RedRabbit423010 ай бұрын
@SmokinMonkeyOG no you couldn't scrap it I told you I'd come all the way from central Al up and across the Border to get it and bring it back down here. I COULDN'T BARE 2 SEE BIRD DIE. IT'S BEEN AROUND A GOOD WHILE BEEN ALOT OF PLACES AND DONE A LOT OF STUFF. THE BIRD MUST live on....

Being TODD has helped you so much getting Big BIRD back up and going ( and by the way it shouldn't take what 10 minutes to connect your shiter linkage. HOOK IT UP BROTHER!!! ) BEING IT'S been just the 2 of you. I think he deserves the right to go out with you on your first to runs , once it's alllĺlllll patched up!!!!!

@RedRabbit4230 he said he’s net letting me take the jeep home till he fixes the shifter lol and I’ll definitely go out with him for the first run

For a mere forty to sixty thousand you could have bought a new wrangler and saved yourself all that work which is exactly why I'm going to repair the body on my TJ. Watching you is showing me what I can expect when I tear into my TJ, but thankfully mine is not as bad as yours. I'll be doing some extra tin work to prevent that mud buildup in front of the rear corner panels as well as some other changes to prevent buildup of mud and salt where you can't get to it. Be good to see you do some wheeling without eating a radiator although the parts suppliers will be disappointed. LOL. I'm going to drill and bronze bush my tailgate hinges because they were piss poor to begin with and I'm making my rear bumper out of 1/4-inch 3"x6" rectangle tubing and mounting my spare tire on that to save my tailgate from the abuse of carrying the weight of the spare tire. Keep it between the ditches rubber side down!

I had a 2006 TJ and used Raptor Liner to coat the entire outside. I was very happy with it. After 2 years it still looked perfect. Mud also just washed right off of it. Also your videos are a blast to watch......

I can’t wait to get it done. Always wanted to have it done but always needed to finish a few things first.

you should get a morryde tailgate reinforcement kit and put it on while you are re doing everything. Much stronger than the stock set up and will replace those hinges
@SmokinMonkeyOG10 ай бұрын
Ya I’ve been looking at that kit actually

If nothing else, you can ALWAYS make a tire rack between the bars in the back on the inside behind the back seat. And that would still allow you too still put your speakers/subs in the BACK SEAT AND BUCKLE THEM IN FOR SAFETY!!!! 😂😂😂😂

You know anyone selling an off road rig? I was supposed to go look at a jeep in Hamilton today and buddy messaged me an hour before I was going to leave saying he sold it. Little disappointed for sure.
@SmokinMonkeyOG10 ай бұрын
All the ones my buddy has will need work done if you’re looking for a project but I would check marketplace or Kijiji.
