36:00 ... absolutely leave things alone unless you have no choice! Another fantastic video, loving that gladiator. Thanks again for taking us along for the ride. Someday soon I'll join I'm sure. Cheers!

I liked that TJ with leaf spring rear and coil front. Looked like Dana 44s.

That obstacle at 23:00 is slippery! I had to wait until a warm dry day to get up there with my Tacoma. Only thing you see through the windshield is the powerline tower and blue sky.

Another awesome video Mike! I am looking forward to seeing your Gladiator with the lift in action. Thanks for sharing. I smell what you are stepping in with the beater repair costs. I made the hard decision to sell my 2D 2010 JK since the needed repairs were high dollar and it was a never ending money pit. I am enjoying my Gladiator that replaced the JK. The monthly payment sucks but is offset by the reliability and comfort. Thanks again!

That TJ went some places you couldn't go. Sooner or later, you will break something on the gladiator, it is just part of the game.
@SmokinMonkeyOG6 ай бұрын
I completely agree. But I rather enjoy the gladiator than the TJ with all of its problems. I can’t take the stress of fixing it all the time it’s too old and too tired. The gladiator will have much less frequent problems I’m sure

Each has it's place but the ramp over angle of the Gladiator with it's extremely long wheelbase is so limiting. Chucking a load in the Gladiator or towing.. sure - it will excel and kill the baby TJ... but as you alluded to, the TJ with no lockers, no nothing but tires got places the twin locked you beaut technology assisted Gladiator couldn't.

See the Blue Beast is getting some dirty action. Think your on the right trail now in regards to selling Big Bird. Nothing lasts forever and the money can be put into the new one. Win-Win in my books.

Tip. 😊 Keep in mind folks, the "Dana 44s" on "Jeep TJs" and older, are different than the new "Dana 44s" on the "Jeep JKs" and newer. I don't know why they call the new Dana "44s" Dana "44s". They should be Dana "45s" or "46s" so people know there is a difference. If you try to take a ring and or pinion, out of a TJ and try to install it on a TJ or vice versa, even with matching gear ⚙️ ratios. They're not interchangeable parents, or if you previously had a "Jeep TJ Rubicon" edition or something even older, and you now have a "Jeep Rubicon" "JK" or a "JL" ect. and you have a pinion seal and or axle seal from your previous "TJ" laying around. The seals will not match up, with the "New Dana 44s". 😂 Sorry, I didn't mean to make this "Comment" so wordy, but I don't know who all is going to read this, so. Hopefully this information helps somebody. 🙃. P.S. if you go to the dealership and ask them for a seat belt extension. They usually give them to you, free of charge, they can be used to get rid of the seat belt buckle chimes as well, and they help prevent the shoulder strap from rubbing on your neck. 👍 Thanks!! love the four wheeling videos!! Keep them coming!! 👍

"hey should be Dana "45s" or "46s" so people know there is a difference. If you try to take a ring and or pinion, out of a TJ and try to install it on a TJ or vice versa, even with matching gear " Given the later models can weigh up to *double* a TJ it's hardly surprising. I agree about the name changes though - - but maybe 44b 44c for each incremental change -- it's still a 44 design. Not an entirely new architecture.

Well, I guess I missed my chance, lol. I am the guy that is in the silver Jeep driving at the lake to my campsite. I had just got there. My son and I went camping there for 3 days. On the way up, I made a joke that it would be cool if we ran into you. Guess I almost did.
