Very underrated class for some races but the top tier is quite competitive like Sedans and Muscles. Even adding the Streiter from Sports will only be good enough for Tier F or G but at least it would be more useful here than in Sports. I was honestly confused why the Patriot Mil-Spec wasn't in this video but after double checking, I realized it was in Offroads. Another note though is that the Crusader can actually be purchased on Warstock for $225,000, it's just considered a Pegasus vehicle and can't be stored in a garage.

I absolutely love driving the Toros. Then again, my favourite sports car is the Itali GTO. Come to think of it, I also love the Emerus. (I have 3 of each of these cars) They are so tactile and chaotic, it's immensely satisfying when you get it right. Adrenalin junkie driving experiences. Bit surprised by the STD, and I'll have to rethink my stance on Ballers or that one anyway (every time Rock* gave me one for free, I "sold" it), and the Vivanite's never been on my radar, but we'll see now.

In terms of what I'd want to drive, I'd go with the Astron rather than the Minivan. The only Minivan I've liked in games was the Citadel in APB Reloaded because it was the closest we've got to a tank in that game.

What sets cars into different tiers and how do you set a vehicle as being better than another when there's two different criteria that sometimes one exceeds better than the other? (Lap time and Top speed)

Lap time is always king as top speed matters very little in a racing scenario. Only in those situations where a car's top speed is significantly higher than everything around it (or significantly lower) does a car get put into a higher or lower tier than its lap time suggests.

I hate when certain vehicles have those odd camera angles. Seems to be with newer vehicles mostly.

it's caused by the car having mod parts that raise the height of the vehicle, such as giant spoilers or full roof racks. The camera is automatically adjusted based on the car's hitbox and it considers the hitbox of all potential mod parts in this calculation. A classic example of a system that worked fine in 2013 (BF Injection notwithstanding) but now the cracks are starting to show

Then what was changed after the PS3/X360 versions of the game? The BF Injection originally had a normal camera angle/distance until they butchered it since...

@@NatureXwars the hitbox. As I said, the camera angle is based on the hitbox so I guess when they touched up the model for the Gen 8 version of the game they fucked up the hitbox. Pretty much every car model got kinda fucked up in the Gen7-to-Gen8 transition

At that point he usually just makes a video for that new vehicle by itself. And tells you it's lap time and top speed and what place it is in its class.

Which imo kinda undermines the whole point of these videos being the comprehensive performance guides. He know's there are atleast 2-3 more content updates coming for the game before GTA VI yet he couldn't wait a bit longer to include those future vehicles for the complete picture..

How do you differentiate between the Dubstas and Ballers that are called the same in-game when doing a lower tier SUV race? So that people don't use the higher tier variant?

Ballers are easy to see since they both look completely different (and have different enough pace that it would be obvious). Dubsta's you just need to know what you're looking for (bullbar modifications on dubsta 2 and different location of spare tire on the back).

"Arena Contender", "Go Kart" aren't classes -- otherwise yes I think thats the plan, priority probably will go to the raceable classes first

testing on FIveM servers wont be useful because a) lack of relevance and b) no guarantee it'll be accurate if servers update car handling, never mind c) if he tests on one server he needs to test on all since every server will have different cars/handling

It's a forgettable vehicle that blends into the background. You've almost certainly seen one, maybe even driven one, but you may not have ever _noticed_ one
