I know it is called Random Pain for a reason, but noone told me that game crashes are a feature now. And yes, that Dump stuck on the start was mine. It got stuck right when the switch happened, so I tried to respawn, car was still stuck and game was like "I guess I will crash now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "

Random variant idea: Random Meme - Like Random Pain without the pain. You can still get drag cars, drift cars, the Leg Day BMX, and stuff like that, but you can’t get the downright terrible cars like the tractor or dump. It also features cars like the Scramjet, Ruiner 2k, and perennL

I think random 50/50 would be interesting. The top 50 fastest cars in the server, and the bottom 50 slowest cars. Therefore being a 50/50 chance you get a good or a bad car each lap. I think it would make the racing really interesting

I have a devious idea for Random races: Random Balanced. Every vehicle is on-pace with ONE vehicle, say the Karin Intruder, so everything is as fast as an Intruder, or the Truffade Z-Type, so everything is as fast as a Z-Type, or the Progen PR4, so everything is as fast as a PR4. It will be hectic and insane, imagine getting passed by a Dump while battling off a Romero Hearse and a Nero Custom, who are all on the same pace!

Random Select is balanced. This is just a mess of an idea that is too much of a hassle to make. Plus probably not even possible.

We can't change vehicle handling on the fly (a server restart is required to load the new files), and every car needs a unique handling file anyway, so we'd have to have as many handling files for each car as there are vehicles on the server, so this is not a viable idea :)

That's what he says. People spawn on Homecoming with a dunce hat on (a white paper cone), so unless a player has modified their "ped" (player character), they'll have that thing on, which makes them easily recognisable.

we do have a giant pile of very good tracks that we gather from all 3 platforms, and they do get suggested, but its usual 1322 stream standards to use a majority of, lets say, *highly familiar* tracks that date back years. me and a handful of others do the track stuff for the server and ive been wanting for a while to put together a playlist of the good stuff that gets ignored

Nah, because what determines the fastest few from a class? Most classes that matter are mainly balanced, so much so that the top 5, for example, varies with the track. Seems like more effort than it's worth.

This can be done on any electric car that doesn’t normally have the turbo upgrade and has been a thing since 2013 with the voltic. The problem is that it doesn’t stick as an upgrade. It will work in the free roam lobby it’s applied in but as soon as you enter a race or join a new lobby or restart the game the turbo will be removed again. So you’re wasting 50k if you’re wanting the higher top speed all the time.

Broughy1322 Ah okay! I used it online and over the length of the airport, the upgraded car with turbo was two lengths ahead at the end. Not worth it for free roam
