I enjoy riding with you, I was born and raised in Western Colorado but have lived in Salt Lake since late 1958. so riding with you brings back many memories. We lived in Kremmling from mid 1943 to early 1945 when I was a young kid and we would travel over Rabbit Ears Pass every two weeks to shop in Steamboat. The west side of the pass used to be a lot of switchbacks and the road was snow packed all winter. Keep the videos coming it's the only way I can get back to Colorado now days. Thanks and take care

Wow, I thought I've seen some changes but you have seen it all! Ohio native here but my first to Steamboat was in "72. I was a kid but my dad took us with him on hunting trips then I bought my own tag in "79 at 16. Started skiing it myself in early 80's. We always drove! I remember it all, lots of good memories. Was just thru there last month en route to Heber City where my buddy bought a place for skiing Utah. How the town has changed. I can only imagine how you remember it was! Cheers!

One of my favorite drives. Rabbit Ears a great Colorado run. Lots of folks don’t know Fraser requested they no longer be cited by the NWS because they didn’t want to be notoriously remembered as the coldest spot in America. They used to duel with International Falls as the icebox of America.

been watching your videos for a few years now, love the winter ones. Used to be a driver, for about 5 years in the 70's I had a winter job keeping the roads clear of snow, for RAF Fylingdales in N.Yorkshire England. My favourite vehicle was a Big Mack breakdown rig with a huge plough on it. We could get snowed in for upto a week at a time, this year there has been almost no snow at all, and temp. hardly getting below 0c. Miss driving now I'm retired so thanks for letting us all drive along with you.

Hey there Mike, I’m a Canadian and it feels good to hear your support for the freedom cause. Looks like you’re going to get your own U.S. freedom convoy. All These deluded politicians need to get with it about who, exactly, they work FOR. The World Economic Forum needs to cease and desist, as well. Keep on trucking, BABY!, love your videos. Hope all’s well with your kids.

I have enjoyed many of your drive videos through Colorado and other great parts of the western United States. Like some of the other commenters, your videos bring back memories of traversing those same roads in my younger years. This one was especially good because Steamboat Springs was the first place I visited in Colorado. I came out to ski in 1974 and was hooked on Colorado. I ended up moving to Glenwood Springs a year later. Thanks again.

Morning Mike, another successful journey over and done with, parked up and on a break for 34 hours which always seems to me to be a strange amount of hours, why not 36, that way its easier to work with? Anyway, even at minus temps old Mike showed us how to drive the mountain routes, so we are grateful that we managed to make our appointment on time. Cheers Mate - any chance of a run back home?

Appreciate the chance to ride along. My family and I are coming up to Steamboat Springs from southeast Texas next week. I’ve driven (trucks) in the snow in the north east (WV, OH, PA) but never a SUV full of family through the mountains through Colorado and heard that rabbit pass was a bit sketchy. So I’m really glad I found you video, I feel a little easier but will definitely take cautions.

Just went through this pass westbound in blizzard conditions driving a 14’ Chevy Malibu. Was driving to Idaho Falls from Indiana via I-80 in Wyoming and they shut down the hwy west of Laramie to Rock Springs. So I detoured down to Colorado and Utah. Wasn’t as cold(about 20 degrees at summit). Rabbit Ears pass…scariest driving experience of my life. Fortunately I was able to follow a 5th wheel semi(safe distance I think). If it weren’t for him I don’t think I would have made it. Was so relieved to make it to the bottom at Steamboat Springs. Suffice to say….I am in the market for an AWD or 4WD vehicle lol.

Its actually over $9 in England for a gallon of diesel!! Unfortunately we are metric with our pricing & its around £1.50 per litre so at $0.73 to the £ currently, we are paying here in the UK on average around $9.24 per gallon & over $11 per gallon for premium diesel!!! Lets not get into our natural gas prices for heating our homes!!!!!

Hey everyone, amazing how Mike can just drive over 4 hours and get unloaded all in the click of the camera frame. Ah the wonders of using the "transporter". Sure am glad we still have some sort of "free speech" here in the USA. Those of us who just want to be entertained can complain about not being entertained all the way through the video and those of us who, by the way, enjoy listening to what Mike has to say, can complain about those who don't like it. LOL!! Sometimes the best of the videos is all the comments Just sayn. Thanks Mike for taking all of us along, glad the trailer is 53' long and just has plumbing supplies in it. Allows for room for all the complainers HA Stay warm people. Winter isn't over yet!! SEE YA!
