i walked it 10 miles in then picked up by a couple very beautiful they were from cherokee to Gatlinburg

It sounds like you were running in 5th gear (or 4th if you have a 5 speed) for much of the trip. It sounds like it was turning some high rpm’s to me. Just a thought.
