I cried!!!! lol Jamaica is the ONLY place I will tear up as soon as the wheels hit the ground and tear up again when the aircraft lifts off the ground!!!!!! I was born in the USA but my Mom took us to Jamaica when we we small and we came back in our teens. I have GREAT childhood memories of BEAUTIFUL Jamaica. The farm life with grandparents, school, church, (church was a MUST!!!! lol) BEAUTIFUL beaches, the food! roast yam, roast corn, fried fish and bammy etc etc MOST of all the GREAT values instilled in me that will last a lifetime. One Love!

Lucky for you, you were born in the Promise Land (USA). People like your mom and many others clamor to and risk their lives to get to the Promise Land!!!
@carlajones26194 жыл бұрын
My mother did NOT risk her life to come to USA in 1956!!!!!! She wanted more opportunities so her brother filed for her to come. NO REGRETS! thanks.

Air Jamaica gone but not forgotten who knows one day she might return under a new name 😱😱👍👍👌👌

Romeo James, Caribbean Airlines is the new Air Jamaica. The Trinidadian company that bought Air Jamaica named it Caribbean Airlines. Though no longer owned by Jamaica, it does still fly to Jamaica. Some people think that Fly Jamaica Airways was originally Air Jamaica, but it was not. However, it is certified by the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) and headquartered in Kingston, Jamaica, but owned by Captain Paul Ronald Reece of Wing Aviation Ltd. in Guyana.

Stop criticizing Air Jamaica,or Caribbean airlines. These are airlines of small islands that dont have the capital like American, Delta,United British airways etc to give you all the perks like Wifi,TV,and the likes.It takes million of dollars to install and run those systems. The most important thing is first good Customer relations,and safety.Getting there in one piece is what you should be worried about How do i know these things ,been in the industry for 43 years..Since 1978 over 100 mamed airlines have gone out of business. Viz here's a few.Pan Am,Eastern, TWA,People's Express,and the list is endless Dont criticize your own.Its business and business like marriage is tough.

landing is when your on final approach or even short final. a final approach video is usually 4 minutes long. this video is 15 min+. change the name to DESCENT INTO KINGSTON, JAMAICA WITH JET BLUE AIRLINES
@hx35003 жыл бұрын
No such thing as "final approach." From the moment you take off, you are on approach to your destination.... In this case, the flight began its approach Appx 1,600 miles away from JFK to KIN.
@Nattaferg3 жыл бұрын
@@hx3500 He is correct. Former Air Jamaica flight attendant here. That is why it is called final approach. It is the immediate period of time when the runway is in sight and the aircraft is lined up for landing. When coming into Kingston, descent usually starts 30 mins before landing and the last 15 mins usually starts somewhere crossing over the north coast taking route over the Cockpit Country, Spanish Town, Caymans and finally the Kingston Harbour. Those last couple of mins esp. over the harbour is considered final approach.

It's funny because Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana are WORSE than Jamaica in terms of crime for 2020. Puerto Rico and Jamaica have roughly the same crime rate but no body talks about Puerto Rico's crime. Bahamas has a high crime rate, too, only roughly 3% different than Jamaica and no body talks about Bahamas. Stop hating on Jamaica. Source: www.numbeo.com/crime/rankings_by_country.jsp Top 10 countries with the highest crime rate: Venezuela 84.49 15.51 2 Papua New Guinea 81.93 18.07 3 South Africa 77.49 22.51 4 Afghanistan 76.23 23.77 5 Honduras 76.11 23.89 6 Trinidad And Tobago 73.19 26.81 7 Brazil 68.88 31.12 8 Peru 68.15 31.85 9 El Salvador 67.96 32.04 10 Guyana 67.66 32.34

Don't come here with the God & bible bullshit! I keep telling people; God has nothing to do with civilization and technology. It's the human mind where some cultures more developed than others.
