My husband and I are so impressed with you and your company. People speak globally about the decline of British industry. Here you are an entrepreneur creating something tangible and high tech in the UK. The other industry is Formula 1. Britain is the silicone valley of premier auto racing technology. I think it would be cool if you invited Dario Franchitti to your facility. He is a 4 time indy car and 3x Indy 500 champion. He is the development driver for the Gordon Murray T50, another brilliant British develolment. More important, Dario is also a long time Helicopter pilot. What do you think, HX50 meets T50? Like most, I can hardly wait for the production units to take flight, but I'm guessing we're still a couple of years away from that. I'm planning to buy one of these amazing machines, but I'll wait for 6-months to a year after a dozen or so are in the air, just to hear some of the feedback. Therefore, I'll probably be 67 or 68 before I can own one. I hope I'm still around. 😆

I really don't like the idea of the controls cables running on the nose structure and through the windshield area, have you guys thought of a bird strike? An impact in that area could lead to a loss of controls. That's a big no no for me.

Yes. There are lots of videos in Hill's channel, including several about the design and construction of the turboshaft engine... which Hill is making itself.
