The Succession War has so much going on. This is a breakdown of the princes; their nen beast, nature, any nen abilities, their allies, and whether or not they're still alive currently.
I honestly half made this for my own benefit as a quick rundown on the major players should Hunter X Hunter return from hiatus.

@@slevinchannel7589 I sure have old friend of mine. :) I call it [The Fruit of One's Labor], a conjurative ability where the user summons a tree seed. They then plant the tree and take care of it until it sprouts and this is where it begins its true purpose. The budding plant can then absorb the aura from other plants and animals and stockpile it. It can use this stockpiled aura to grow itself faster, provide nutrients to the surrounding ecosystem so the plants give it MORE aura in exchange for nutrients( a symbiotic relationship) and allow the user to use that stockpiled aura for whatever. Some may assume that'd count as emission but since the conjured tree is apart of the user by the rules of nen, he essentially gets a huge reservoir of aura to use.

@@Whodjathink Well, yeah, it would; per the Rules of Aura; count as a 'Container', a Reserve of Aura that he can use when he touches the Tree. But you need Emission to draw from it from Afar.

The 4th princes Nen beast turns those who lie to him all those times into a Nen beast for him. Which is what is believed to have granted him his ability. Because you can’t just create an ability that elaborate without trying to, as he literally discovered he could use his ability on accident. And to further this, his other bodyguard who helped Theta basically confirms this as he says that someone did lie the amount of times and basically became him Nen beast. So that ability is pretty OP. Through his Nen beast. He can seemingly just get an infinite amount of broken Nen abilities so long as the conditions just keep getting met

@@nicholasleclerc1583 exactly, it just goes to show what being a specialist and having a high Nen affinity and potential does. And it also makes sense as Nen Beasts are created separate from the user so it makes sense that Nen beats don’t have many restrictions. But I still feel like neither him or Benjamin will win outright because it’d be too obvious as they have the best chances at winning, but I feel like one of them will still survive some way some how in order to progress the story. I personally want Halkenberg to win, but I also want either Tserridnich or Benjamin to live too.

We don't known if Halkenberg's ability kills the the target. We were left on a big cliffhanger with his group experimenting trying to figure out if the target is dead.

Yep. But we know it's another 3-Ability-Fusion, as it transmutes Armor, transmutes an Arrow, emits an Arrow, manipulates the Target heavily when the Arrow hits. That's 3 Types BUT just like with Netero, he may use Enhancement to increase the motion his Power is reliant on: His Marksmanship. So he may use 4 Types, which is theorized to be the same as Netero; a comparison that compliments him, i'd say.

NEN-QUESTION: So how i understood it, conjuring a Dimension is just strategically Best IF your not after Combat-Strength, yes? You can make it more and more cozy by bringing-in things from the real word. You can even made much Money out of it, just by being clever at making Basic Decisions about your Dimension AND you make it have the Attribute of expanding endlessly each time you become stronger and/or put more Aura into it. It only makes sense to me that the Floor being made of Gold or Silver cost the same amount of Effort to conjure IF it’s the exact same Weight. Why would the Rules of Nen care?! There is no objective Prize of things, all prizes and values are man-made and made-up. So i really think it’s unlogical to think a Dimension with the Attribute of being made of Stone cares what kind of Stone it is: And this of course includes Quartz and Graphine and all such.

I think Yoshihiro Togashi fked himsel up by introducing so many characters. We got 20+ new characters since the Chairman Election arc till the last chapter. Zodiacs, v5 staffs, Kakin's King n his children (14 of them) with their bodyguards n thats still not counting the ghostlike nen power that the children have, n they have their own personalities n names of their own. And surely more characters gonna be introduced along the journey + when they get to reach there. I think this is the most characters Ive seen in any anime or manga. This arc alone could be 12 - 20 volumes by itself considering the Chimera Ants arc was 12 volumes and could be up to 60 - 100 anime episodes considering Chimera ants arc was 61 episodes.

I believe that near half of the remaining princes will be wiped by Camilla's suicide team. Those who survive will be either the ones who: - have an exorcist among them; - have a nen beast that its special power is to absorb or provides immunity to curses; - awake an exorcist nen ability (or one of their guards in training develop/have one); - get a luck/miracle based ability; - nen gets stronger upon death and, with it, asspulling back to life; - the suicide curse user gets manipulated or suffer a change of mentality that ends up failing to fulfill the requirements for the curse to activate (i.e.: being possessed by one of Haukenberg's loyal guard's will make the suicide not count towards the curse); - the suicide curse user is prevented to commit suicide.

Morena should be able to pull her Power off with just pure Enhancement OR Enhancement+Manipulation, but i have no idea what Benjamin Baton and Cat's Life are. Narratively, i am sure they're not all Specialist-Abilitys, cause duh. But what are they then? Any ideas, fellow fans?

Camilla's is probably a use of Emission and Transmutation/Conjuration. I say transmutation/conjuration because her cat converts the killer's body into a life-regaining substance of sorts. Emission for obvious reasons. Now if others can actually see that giant cat (or even non-users who killed her) then it'd definitely be Conjuration by itself. Same with Benjamin. Even if he's an Enhancer, despite it being conjuration it does have a pretty big condition placed on it. They need to A: have graduated from the military academy and be apart of his army and B: die

@@nenmaster5218 I think that for the information that are now in our possession your evaluation is right, but in my opinion if the manga returns, the changes in progress and the surprises in relation to the Nen Abilities and also to the Nen beasts will be too unpredictable thanks to the Togashi's brilliant narrative intricacy. For example. his Guardian Spirit Beast (Benjamin's) has an unknown ability; also the Culdcept ability that allows the user to "procure" another Nen user's ability, has been used only once (unsuccessfully), in the future such an ability is certainly valuable and can overturn expectations in a fight.

I don't think stands are as complex as Nen to begin with. There are stand types and special rules that even change between parts. The fights don't depend on the rules of the fighting system as much as they do in HxH. That's not to say that stand fights can't be complex, have tactics and be great overall but I just think it's not as complex as a system when compared to Nen.

It's definitely an interesting mix in current HxH. Some powers have a definite JoJo feel, like Silent Majority's design and the nen beasts themselves give off a real stand vibe. Others are still surprisingly simple though like the person who literally punches the truth out of you. I'm really curious to see where Togashi takes it

Idk man, stands in general dont seem that complex or powerful to me. Many times their rules just get broken by power of joestar blood and the big ora oras. Nen on the other hand is implemented even in fights which makes the whole thing a mad way of fighting. Togashi has definitely been inspired by king crimson with tserriedich tho ngl
