This is certainly one of the more unique massage devices I've reviewed in a while. I've never seen a portable, handheld, vibration based massager with different nodules on it before. It comes with 6 different massage surfaces and vibrates at a very high frequency. Much different than a massage gun, but still a significant amount of relief. Definitely would recommend for anyone that feels a massage gun is too aggressive for them. Check out the full review!

Thanks for the video, I didn't know that model! It's cheap for what these high-frequency devices usually cost. I have to see if it has been released in Europe

How does it compare to a normal massage gun like the Hyperice? Is it better for neck and knots?

Do you think it would be good for releasing tight occipital muscles

I personally prefer some tbh if more aggressive, such as a massage gun, for my neck. I could see it being useful for occipital muscles, yes. I would also consider the theraface pro for those muscles.

Actually, as they explain in the video, they are nothing like conventional massage guns, like hypervolt. They are high frequency vibration devices, that is, they reach up to 100Hz, they usually go from 50 to 100Hz and the guns reach 50Hz at most and the high amplitude ones stay at 45Hz or so. They are widely used in therapy because they have a powerful analgesic effect, certain receptors in the skin and muscle-tendon are very sensitive to such high vibrations and their effect is comparable to TENS. They tend to be expensive from 700 to 1200 or 1300 dollars. The gun vibrates, but it makes percussion fundamentally those "hits" on the tissue are different. For a deep massage I consider the gun better, but they are perfectly combinable

How does it compare to the RRT- Pro3?

HYAKO Rapid Release has a different structure compared to RRT PRO3, but the effect is very deep and long lasting.

Will this help activate muscles? I had a knee replacement and my chiropractor used a device to activate my quad, so that I could get my bend increased. Will this help?

I've have the RRT Pro3 for over 1yr now. I use it every week never had and issue, comes with two long lasting batteries. Its a workhorse, class 1 rated medical device, built like a tank. The Hyako max out 7,000rpm the RRT PRO3 10,000. I went to three different chiroprators here in central Florida and they all carry the RRT PRO3. I'm not down playing this device, I never used the Hyako so I can't speak on it. Keep in mind the RRT cost 10x but does come with a 2yr warranty. They sometimes have a $200 discount

Complete crappy knockoff of the Pro3. This caused my hand to go numb when testing it which over time will cause nerve damage. Be careful
