How is the ocean for swimming over there? Is it very shallow? All the beaches in Bali do not seem so good for swimming.

Unfortunately I’m unable to answer that because I didn’t have a chance to swim in my limited time there. I bicycled Sanur beach and hungout most of the time around the hotel facilities.

I lived in Sanur. Can swim as the waves in Sanur is calm and clean. Children can swim too but still parents' supervised. Sanur is quiet ecclectic. Totally different vibe compare to Kuta (crowded), Seminyak (hype clubbing area, Potato head), or Nusa Dua (non organic as all for me is man setting kind of, far from the touch of local)

Which would you recommend between Hyatt Regency and the Grand Hyatt?

I recommend Hyatt Regency Sanur if you want to enjoy not just the hotel but the nearby areas. But if you don't plan to leave the hotel, then stay in Grand Hyatt. It has a very large self contained facility.

There are 3 tennis courts in Grand Hyatt Bali but none in Hyatt Regency Sanur. If you want to play tennis, Grand Mercure Sanur has what looked like a rarely used court. Liga Tennis court is not far too.

BAGUS minimarket/laundry is immediately next door to the left when you walk outside the hotel from the main entrance.

The bikes were all under maintenance when we were there. You can take them off site anywhere as long as you return them to the hotel. There are also bikes/e-bikes for rent outside the hotel 😊

Hi, they're both Hyatt chain but i don't know of any other link. When i was there, i did notice a pathway near the Hyatt Regency Spa connecting to Andaz property.

Thank you so much for showing all the amenities and the room at the Hyatt Regency Bali. The room with all the dark earth tone colors looks dreary, old, hiding dust and God know what else. Although the lobby is done in the Balinese way it looks horrific the concept of not having air conditioning and better furniture and fresh flowers it is just unappealing to me.

You're welcome. I agree with you, the room was a bit dark but the bed was SUPER comfy. I spent most of the time outside and was only in the room to sleep plus this was an upgrade so 🤷‍♀️😃

@@Loupadron2010 Nusa Dua is where Grand Hyatt is and yes is has white sandy beach. Hyatt Regency on the other hand is in Sanur, not as regal of a beach compared to Nusa Dua in my opinion.
