I do not understand the bathroom privacy thing. Why was this an issue if the man was your husband? But, yes, to each their own. Thanks for the video.

I see your point. I tried to make it work for one night.. We were there for a week so the room upgrade worked out for us. Plus we moved to an oceanfront room. So beautiful to experience Thanx for watching 🌸

@@Christinacation Dear @christinacation I have been Fortunate enough to have been to Hawaii several times on family trips and have stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui. Great video btw. Without getting into personal details I am curious about the type of work yourself and husband are involved in? Is it remote? I love the fact how you can still earn money while on vacation in paradise. Any advice is appreciated!! I am a Stony Brook Student from Long Island Ny and figuring out what I want to do in life. This is what I aspire to work towards. Thanks

Beautiful video. Been there a few times. Had a much smaller room, but comfortable & higher up. Sorry you didnt show more of that open lobby & the pieces of pottery, etc. That’s what got me the 1st time I was there. Also that bridge by the pool. Anyway, thanks, very lovely.

If you all are family, I really don’t understand your reason for moving is truly based on a bathroom design that you are annoyed with. That doesn’t make sense to me especially since you said it occurs in all rooms. That’s not fair to hotel management to suggest there is an issue with their design. You should have just told the truth to say you decided to move because you wanted a better view. Totally unfair to the hotel and future guests who watch your video to say there is a design flaw which caused you to move.

I apologize ahead of time for this....😬 This is where my husband and I stayed for our honeymoon in July of 1999. Over 20 years and several kids later I can say without hesitation that it was the happiest moment of my life. I knew that life was going to be incredible and the future looked beautiful. But...I also knew that life was hard and there would be many good and bad days. So...I decided...WE decided that we would pause...right then and there...and would make ourselves ...REMEMBER. We both did. We took 20 -30 minutes and we...listened, smelled, looked, felt...and completely paused everything. I Made myself mentally record everything. We were young but knew that the future would be filled with both the loud and quiet...hard and easy....happy and sad...tears and laughter. Not sure how we were able to grasp that at 19 and 21 but we did and I can VIVIDLY remember what my brain recorded that night. And... our future WAS all the things I mentioned. It has been filled with so many highs and the most gut wrenching lows. We faced the one thing that parents desperately pray to never experience. In August of 2014 we had to say goodbye to our beautiful incredible 9 year old special needs daughter and it was.....(do I even need to type?) Our 2 other children mourned with us. But there have been incredible miraculous moments too! Why say this? Because I will never ever forget that one moment down the beach from where this video was taken. One moment that was life altering. Why? Because we decided that we would take that perfect moment...and never forget so that when hard times eventually came....we would always have that moment...to help us remember that TOGETHER we would face whatever came. And we have. Our oldest is 20, our youngest 14....and our Makenna would be 17. Our goal was to relive the beautiful moment in Maui when we came back in 5...or 10...or 20 years. Well...that part hasn't happened yet due to...medical......well...you don't need me to explain. But I know we will get back there... I know we will hold hands and I will probably break down in tears because it will feel like we crossed some sort of finish line. I don't know how we're going make it happen but I am encouraged at this particular moment after watching her video. That whole purpose of this comment was to thank you for sharing because it truly truly reminded me of that irreplaceable memory that has meant more than anyone could possibly understand. Thank you! Have a wonderful day!!!

The luau would be great. When we were there everything was closed so we spent time at the pools, ate out at a few favorite spots. Monkeypod has the best Mahi, Hula Grill is fun for drinks and food, Sheraton hotel by black rock is beautiful to chill and have appetizers. Frida’s in Lahaina is great for mahi Mexican style. We saw local musician Jason Arcilla at Fleetwood’s and Maui Brewery. We also grabbed the best poke from Foodlands and went to the beach along the hotels black rock beach is nice. Road to Hana is great. We went halfway lol. If you have a car just drive and tour the island. Have fun and thank you for watching the video ✨

Beautiful hotel. All 4 of you were able to fit in the King suite comfortably? Both girls were able to sleep well on the pull out sofa? We're not sure if we should book a room w/2 double beds or 1 king and a pull out sofa.
@Christinacation3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kim, for this Video/Stay we had a separate room for the girls. They had a room with 2 double beds no oceanview just a few doors down and that room was perfect for 4. The king suite that we stayed in had a sofa bed which would also be good for 4 plus the bedroom had a door for privacy. I guess it depends in price and view. At the Andaz (a different hotel and different video we also had a king suite and the girls slept on the sofa bed) they were comfortable for 3 nights. Have a great time and thanx for watching ✨

Yes we work remote. During the pandemic our jobs allowed us to work remote. Hawaii was so beautiful. There’s so many jobs now offering competitive wages for remote work. If you have customer service skills or selling skills there’s many jobs available. You just need a computer, or laptop and internet. Thank you for watching and good luck on your job search. Aloha 🌺

The room is nice but why would they put the tiny balcony with standing room only on the million-dollar-view side, and the bigger balcony view overlooking rooftops with solar panels? Makes no sense! I'm hesitant to book with these large hotels because you never know what kind of weird room design you're going to get after giving them thousands of dollars of your hard-earned money. It's crazy how they justify charging a premium for a view from your balcony of a tiny slice of ocean off in the distance and call it an oceanfront just because you can see the ocean from inside your room. What a scam.

You have to admit that you made up a “privacy reason “ to upgrade the room . Are you a globalist with Hyatt ?
