Thank you again. I just followed you on Twitter! You provide very interesting information that is very different from a reactor. (Not that there is anything wrong with reactors. We all have a select few that we enjoy.). But your measured and well thought out information regarding K-POP is quite unique and very helpful in understanding the industry here in North America. I had no idea we accounted so much toward Hybe’s geographic revenue.

For all the composing, producing & performing on records.. for BTS, other idols & himself..SUGA should have a bigger net worth than what the internet reports 🤔

Hybe started off well but after Bang Sihyuk left the CEO seat, they been disbanding groups with no explanations to fans and make no efforts towards artists online protection with examples of Garam and TraineeA. They just let the internet run wild with malicious rumors and if they fail to do damage control they terminate the artists contract. Just sad

@@__narutouzumaki JYP is known for having a very fair revenue distribution. in Got7's renewed contract, they were practically taking in 10% of revenue only. Twice's contract favors the artists tremendously

For HYBE to go to dynamic pricing for concerts is really biting the hand that made you. In the name of greed they are betraying the ARMYs that supported them as BigHit and made them into HYBE. what will they do if ARMY stops buying merch beyond albums?
@Mori-Chan613
@Mori-Chan613 Жыл бұрын
You can stop if that hurts you but don’t put big words like we are betrayed. First off, if army don’t want it, they don’t spend money on it. Second, our boys are well-paid off from concert proceeds to merch and company shares. Third, the ticket concert cost is just a little money compared to the inspiration and help army received from Bangtan. As for me, they helped me with my mental issues thru their songs. They saved me at the right moment. But I think this isn’t the first time I’m replying to same comment. This type comment usually comes from a non-army. Thank you for your concern tho but we’re fine over here and we won’t stop supporting our favorite artists. You can stop supporting and get involved in anything kpop so these things won’t bother you anymore.

@@Mori-Chan613 they saved you. think of all the others they saved who have support BTS since debut and have been loyal no matter what and their thanks is super high ticket prices. $900 for GA floor for Suga is more than a little money. BTS tickets were always hard to get but a least they were affordable for their fans.
@carries356
@carries356 Жыл бұрын
If I understand the ticketing industry, i.e. ticketmaster, they hv a monopoly & it's well know they exploit & engage in price gauging via 3rd party resellers. Many artists hv been vocal & are against these practices but since many concert venues hv agreements to use ticketmaster, there is often no recourse & artists are unable to effectively prevent inflated ticket prices, even though, TM states in its own regulation that tickets can not be resold. BTS attempted to ensure their fans had 1st dibs by holding ARMY members pre-sale events, but literally after 1 click even I saw the original ticket price change to double, triple, etc. the cost. So basically it should be understood that any anger & need for change needs to be directed towards TM, not the artists but recently I've heard that there hv been calls for a Congressional investigation into TM's monopoly & ticketing practices so hopefully this situation will improve. Honestly, a BTS concert is a once in a lifetime experience, the feeling of being a part of the purple ocean & standing together with Army from all over the world, of all ages, ethnicities and feeling the love and power of a BTS live performance will always be one of my best memories. Kim Namjoon, Min Yoongi, Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook are incredibly humble, have always worked hard to give their artistry and Army their best and they never fail to thank and give ARMY their love so I will always be ARMY and remain at their side. 💜 BTS 💜 APOBANGO 💜 ARMY 💜 BORAHAE 💜

@@annanamoose9943 So what do you suggest? Have you thought as well of the businesses/middlemen/ticketing outlets/production & distribution companies and people down the line behind every concert, tour, stage production, album, and merch release? How would they make money dear? Now that they have more groups as trainees and from acquired companies, how would HYBE be able to financially support them and their production team? This is why a fan should not only be a fan. You should also know and understand the business side of this whole thing, not just whine about the prices. As a consumer, you have two options: To buy or not to buy. Oh, wait, your word choices tell me you're not even an army. Why bother girl?
@annanamoose9943
@annanamoose9943 Жыл бұрын
@@Mori-Chan613 I suggest the law change so tickets can only be resold for face value. That takes the money out of scalping and also takes the incentive out of people buying extra ticket just to resale, which makes more ticket available. This way companies/artist can set the ticket price that makes them a profit as much as they can considering Ticketmaster sets the fee, owns the majority of venues and even gets a cut of the artist merch sold on tours, even though they had nothing to do with making the merch. Ticketmaster and scalpers are the real problem Are you the one who's not ARMY? You keep claming I'm not when I'm trying to think about as many ARMY seeing BTS alive s possible and you only seem to want BTS seen by a few rich people. Do you work for ticketmaster? 😁

Really now! If YG believe they will be big again with BM then they should have immediately debut them. Not by doing audition thirst discovery. They themselves should believe in what talent they discovered. Not by testing waters and thirsting audiences.
