In this video, we're going to be comparing BTS songwriting and creative preferences to see how they compare. We'll be looking at Jungkook's songs and how they compare to the other members' songwriting and creative preferences.
Jungkook is known for his beautiful and soulful music, and this video will explore how his songs compare to the others in terms of both composition and creativity. We'll also be looking at how his lyrics compare to the others and how his music fits within the group's overall sound. Thank you for your insights. JK is also a visual artist and, I think, he uses words, sounds, his voice, and the rhythm to literally paint a picture that takes us into an emotional journey. As the song progresses, he adds layers so that the hand he extends like for a run together, swings us into a dance and finishes in an embrace. It's an intimate conversation even with his Golden album where he didn't write the songs but he chose them, arranged them and presented them in a very unique way as demonstrated in his Golden concert. It wasn't a mega visual spectacle. It was an intimate moment, a conversation almost one on one between him and 12 million people, a serenade to leave us one long lasting experience to remember him and his 6 hyungs over the next 18 months. No glitz, just his voice, his eyes, his moves, and his smile without any distraction. That is an artist: he had all the tools at his fingertips but in the end all he needed was himself. He is only 26... I hope to live long enough to see where he takes us next, our "Jungkook from BTS".

Jungkook is a total package. A music genius. A vocal genius. A global superstar. His love for army is genuine, sincere, and overflowing that is felt not only in his songs but also in the time and ways he spend time with armys. He will be sorely missed when he finally enters military service. 😭💜😭

Our Golden maknae is a real artist! He can do so much of his natural talent!! He loves his army so much we know he likes to imagine and very creative! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜he drew inspiration from his love for the ARMY he said this all the time.

I wouldn't say he's the best singer (I'm 55 and I had the pleasure to experience several really fabulous singers and there is NO best.) But he's definitely one of my favorites. His voice is unique and recognizable. And he's definitely one of the best songwriters out there. You said they are easy to sing like Beatles' songs. I disagree. I think they're more like Abba songs....they seem and sound easy, but they are really difficult to sing. Anyway, the last four members will leave for military service in Dezember. Jungkook wrote a very long letter to say goodbye. I hope that we will hear more songs of him in the future. Not just songs, he sings for others. And I hope he's got more to tell than his feelings for armys and the members. I hope to hear more about him like "My Time" which is still a masterpiece for me, musically as well as lyrically.

As a 2019 ARMY I have always thought of JK as an incredible Producer/ Director, especially after seeing his G.C.Fs and him as an Artist be it drawing, Music, etc. His Artistry has no bounds. I am so happy to hear you say the same. Such a Visually driven Artist. The comments of others here confused me. The songs you mentioned are credited as JKs composition, why are they saying RM or V wrote some of them? Your analysis always bring out more to what we already like of a member’s work. Thanks!

RM has helped almost all of them to write their aongs in one point or another. V and JK usually exchange opinions and points of view of their music so I think people is thaking that to a further level.

Now that I know BE was suppoused to be their last album before military service I can not take of my mind "Stay" was writed and dedicated for his Jin hyung. And he is always asking him to stay with him, he put Jin in the center of "Life Goes On" MV, he dedicated "Saty" to Jin in the unboxing and he singed "Stay" with Jin and RM, another important figure for him. I know he loves all the members and ARMY but fo me "Stay" was for Jin in a methaphorical way but still asking Jin to be there for him even if they are worlds appart. I think that is incredible sweet of him.

I honestly pray that JK watches your videos. I think he needs to see them. I don’t feel he has confidence in his song writing skills and you always articulate so well his strengths. Army loves his songs. I hope he will continue to write in the future. I love his English songs and if that’s what he wants from now on, I will support and love it, but I selfishly hope he will weave some of his own writings from time to time. I don’t want it because I think it makes him “more of” an artist. I honestly don’t believe that. I just want it because I love his songs. :)

I love Jungkook's songs. Beauty with substance, indeed. But, your thoughtful analysis only draws attention to what's missing from Golden. I think Hate You is the most interesting song from JK's debut solo album, but none of the tracks touch my soul or approach the lyrical and musical sophistication of the songs you mention such as Film Out, Your Eyes Tell, and Still With You. 💜

I think this is a good point. I think having limited time and struggling with the break initially while the others had their turn with the solo projects was a factor. JK said he wouldn't have done a solo album if songs were not presented to him that captured his attention. RM, Suga and J-Hope have been writing songs for years and had a body of work available. Jimin had a story to tell and worked with the experienced BTS team to bring that to life. I think all factors considered JK made a good decision to be able to share a fun solo project in the short time he had.

@@maryr1905 I agree that the time crunch was a factor, especially once the decision was made to expand what JK envisioned as an EP into a full album. Also, the choice to do an all-English album limited him lyrically. Obviously, JK would be able to convey more complex concepts in his heart language. Hat's off to JK, though, for how well he sang the load of English he had to learn on short notice. 💜

Он сейчас пробует разные стили и правильно делает.. в рамках бтс ему было тесновато.. сейчас попробует, научится чему то новому и потом будет более наполненным и вдумчивым... Он , я так понимаю ,совсем не торопился с альбомом.. вообще хотел парочку синглов и в армию..но раскрутили парня.. и правильно сделали..он безумно талантлив и уникален. Все у него впереди. JK songs don’t touch me at all because his songs were given to him from western artist. Songs on the golden album are not original songs by him. They were written by someone else! There is none of him in them. That’s my opinion. I know he can write songs because his past songs have been good but this solo album is not him! It is to mainstream westernized pop!
