@@moluccensis They def did. My comment on ILLIT's Magnetic music video on the DAY it was released, was that the group looked like a cheap version of New Jeans. The whole aesthetic is NJ even if we consider Y2K's overall return. The number of members, the long natural looking hair, the outfits, lighting and vibe of the MV. Even the song sounds like something New Jeans would possibly release if MHJ's was more on the generic side. Because, sure, Magnetic is a nice, catchy song, but it is generic AF. I also lamented the fact that HYBE was trying to ride on the coattails of their own group trying to replicate something that worked and I got so much hate. Surely that's not the only reason why ADOR wants out from HYBE, if anything it's just and excuse. And, honestly? I don't believe ADOR really needed to do anything for ppl to view the HYBE and their artists in a negative light when all one's gotta do is to give their GG's a mic and say "try it live". HYBE dug their own grave in this department by overlooking vocal classes, practice and live experience. Plus debuting minors and making them in suggestive outfits while doing suggestive choreos. If Hybe really believes they're being trashed because ADOR trashtalk them, they're being delusional. They trashed themselves. lol

They downloaded confident information from Hybe and gave it to other people outside the company, this is not about NJ comeback my dear, that woman was shady as f, already in that one interview she claimed Hybe had nothing to do with all the success, despite them giving all the money, the trainees, the staff etc. and owning 80% of ADOR. She didn't even praise the girls but basically only herself. When asked why she went to Hybe, she said she always wanted her own label and she could achieve it quicker that way. She just wanted to milk the ressources, establish herself with the reputation of Hybe (reputation means business power here, networks etc.) and then take off with that company using shady tactics. Hello, a lawyer here. Selling out internal information to shareholders is a pretty huge crime. If she has actually done it, she could face fines and a jail sentence and be removed from her post. It wouldnt affect the company per se (maybe their stocks will free fall for sometime.) but hybe is a big company and they will manage. They will just take the company as a whole, under their wing and continue running. new jeans will also continue, cause they are popular and as a company they cannot loose such a source of income. On the other hand if she is able to file a case stating that the songs of illit are stolen and that hybe is stealing her ideas. They would have to give her back the money they made and illit would have to give up the song on a copyright basis- (would she be able to leave hybe with ador is questionable, might depend on the accusations she has and the laws prevalent in korea)

The fact that newjeans were originally meant to debut under source music and lesserafim is originally a bighit gg. The audition and training of all newjeans members were done by source music but mhj suddenly wanted a separate label which led to most of somu's trainees shifting to ador. I don’t care what Hybe did, we all know companies are shady as hell. But Min Heejin doing this seriously shady stuff herself has impacted New Jeans and their careers negatively. I don’t trust anyone in this situation, I’m just worried that the girl’s careers are at stake because of it. I can understand the frustration of Hybe going back on their promise but that’s what contracts are for. These aren’t friends having a disagreement, they’re business partners and businesses are going to do what they deem is the most beneficial for the company. How long are the girl’s contracts for? Surely they could’ve stuck it out and then gone their seperate ways from Hybe. This just looks like Min Heejin is biting the hand that fed her. New Jeans has accomplished a lot on their own but Hybe’s money and position in the industry allowed them to spend the big bucks on them to help get them there. This smells of greed on both sides.
