Lol it’s not just about popularity it’s about wanting representation. Idk how people look at countries like Brazil & Philippines and take it against underrepresented people of color for wanting to be represented in a global pop group. Besides, it’s not like the talents being pushed to the front aren’t talented. Public opinion, judges’ opinion and contestants’ opinion all pretty much match. Manon is the only discrepancy wherein public opinion doesn’t coincide with what’s going in DA walls. My personal theory is maybe Manon’s body physically can’t keep up cuz it seems that she misses rehearsals the most. that’s nothing against her maybe she just needs ample rest that the show can’t give to her right now. It always feels incredibly iffy when people question the show or the girls’ credibility just because there’s a difference in opinion regarding Manon. It seems like you’re the ones being biased. Daniela wasn’t popular in Mission 1. She was #17 and she jumped to #5 in Mission 2 cuz she did a great job! Sophia has consistency in her ranking outside of just fan votes. She’s got the girls’ votes too & from what they’ve shown us the judges like her too. Samara is also a consistent top ranker outside of just fan votes. The girls voted for her too. The judges praise her too. The voters aren’t just looking at their nationalities 😭 Samara is also proof that the girls aren’t just voting based on who they’re close to because she entered only 2 months before this show started - most of these girls have been training for over a year. And the accusations of voting based on their “looks” aka typically translates to accusations of colorism - Samara & Lara literally consistent in the Top 6 for both Missions. Like seriously, all these accusations thrown against the show boils down to viewers being so biased towards Manon that they have throw everyone else under the bus to justify why Manon isn’t doing as well as they wanted to. I mean if it’s truly just about popularity, then Manon SHOULD be shoo in. She is hands down more popular than most of the other Top 6. And yet she isn’t.

Omg you are spot on. This is also what I thought. There's definitely an issue about Manon's work ethic and her super fans have their blinders on.

I agree with most of this, another big outlier for me is Celeste. She is talented but I don't think she is at the same level as everyone else so far but you can see the discrepancy in the votes compared to the commentaries IMO.

@@okayshae i agree with that slightly, but then again i felt like mission 1 showed celestes vocals blending in nicely so idk. Slso lara in mission 2 received the same critique as celeste of not being able to keep up, which was also odd because they both seemed to be dancing fine. I do think there is some truth to what the judges say, but there might also be a desire to manipulate the votes a little bc they already know who theyre debuting

@@ChordXY trabaja hasta la mrd? si, pero manon y samara eran las que tenian un tono de voz medio unico :V en la final, entonces para mi que hybe queria a samara dentro....pero esos rumores que surgieron sobre publicaciones r4c1st4s de ella, la condenó, asi de simple....empresas grandes descartan primeramente a idols con "problemas" o "rumores" sean falsos o verdaderos, asi seas talentoso, tienes el historial manchado y quedas fuera. manon tenia voto de fans muy fuerte y tiene buena voz.....por eso la escogieron, asi de simple :v Con Celeste, tiene buena voz y baila bien, es como un trainee promedio solo que con apoyo del publico.....asi de simple, por ejemplo en el caso de Adela, siento que concuerdo al 100% con la opinion de Son....se le ve mejor de solista, tu me vienes a decir que ella fue top en el T&D y no te creo nada, noc a pesar de tener buena porcion de screentime en la mision 1 no resalto nadita....senti que paso meh....hasta UA con menor screentime supo manejarlo mejor :V y no se diga de megan que devoro.

just because someone has a different opinion does not mean they are hating, I have said it before and I will continue to say all of these young ladies are talented in their own ways.
