Glenn Danzig, The Great, is missing on every single Great Musicians list ever made by the media. The guy was a pioneer of Punk Rock, Gothic Metal, Industrial, among other genres. He's one of the greatest american musicans of all times, I hope he gets the recognition he deserves before he's dead.
@da7514 жыл бұрын
agreed...Glenn was always ahead of the curve, Samhain has just as many great songs as Misfits...and first Danzig album is perfect, every song, he’s a legend

Eder Diogo Martins Well I don't have anything in depth to say about it other than I personally don't like anything post Danzig era. And not that I have a boner for Glenn, I just didn't like the music or vocals or anything about the direction of the band. I think the band should have been left for dead after 83. Jerry tarnished the legitimacy of what the band was about in the first place. I think he should have named the new band something other than the MISFITS. Especially since Glenn was the creator of all the music and lyrics of MISFITS. I would have less of a problem with it if Jerry just moved on.

Brings back a lot of memories from being a kid in the 80s. Back then, most bands,music, and music I got into like The Misfits, Danzig, and many other bands nobody else cared for or got into pretty much most my life. Its still that way around me, but theres also a lot more people online that really love and appreciate it all. I may be older now, but ya never get rid of the rebel punk inside me. Same reason I stay play and publish my music all these years. FYI, at one time, many years ago, Glen was roommates with my Uncle Kevin in college temporarily in California. He has old Kodak photos of them hanging out. Much younger of course. My still had hair, Glen was pretty crazy and wild, partied a lot,and eventually left college with some friends to travel on the road. Lost contact with my Uncle. Then 2 years later showed up as an upcoming popular band called The Misfits My Uncle seen him one last time at that first Live stage show. I seen Danzig years later in 2006, hoping to talk to Glen, but they left before I coukd get backstage. Thats pretty much it for now. But ya nevee know. Sooner or later may show up again. Just wanted to share that experience with ya. Thought you whould appreciate it.
