There is a canary x reclinata I am pretty sure where I live and it is so beautiful and seems weevil resistant so far. It has a lot larger crown than a reclinata and a bit thicker trunk and is always throwing up a lot of leaves so I am pretty confident it will survive the palm weevil. It seems that any canary hybrid survives. In Ocean Beach where I live most the canaries are dead but the remaining canary hybrids with dactylifera all are really healthy. My grandpa has an old clump of reclinata x roebellini's which are nice also.

I have seen on rare occasion bismarckia, pritchardias, jubaeas and parajubaeas get hit but never a dactylifera or any other phoenix palms besides canariensis which is interesting. There is a mature canary on my street that got fusarium a while back and the dead fronds are finally pretty much to the top. The trimmer on top of not sterilizing his saw did a horrible job where he trimmed the trunk much narrower at the top than it had been trimmed previously. I will miss that palm a lot.
