"the reason why [band x] was so loved" No, there was no single thing that you could list that justifies any of your reasoning; Linkin Park was an experience in time and the hindsight is a straw man argument. Let's put it this way: if a mad time travel happened and this tribute band was to be the actual Linkin Park band... those who loved it then would love it just the same, you included. Pointing out discrepancies in the tribute performance doesn't automatically enlighten you about what made Linkin Park captivating because nothing did, the experience and the time made Linkin Park, not some slightly raspier voice compared to nothingness. This is not to say that the criticism isn't valid, it definitely is. But it is not valid when the stance is that one is overall better than the other as a performance. It being a tribute band, the only valid criticism is that it's not on par with the original, regardless of the degree. They can't be better either in that context because the excellence is accurate mimicry - and so, even if they would be considered better it would still be a negative as a tribute band. Went overboard with this comment, I apologize lol

lol I’m glad you said that at the end..I did read the entire comment tho..and I think in comparison I’m saying better as in a tribute band should sound as close to the original as possible. I understand what you’re saying as well.
