SEESH👀 it’s not an upgrade hole! You can get home quicker with the groceries, and you’ll never be late to the soccer game. IE currently has a sale going, the 810 tuning will be released this week, go check it out! 😉

How much torque can the motor handle ?

Rods are rated for “600WTQ” but have been proved to withstand almost 700WTQ without any issues. Trans is rated for almost 800WTQ

that is sweet. I had the 2015 RS seven stage two doing 6.6 in the 8th mile and 10.5 1/4. My wife has the 2016 SQ5 I would like to do some modifications on. she has a apr stage 1. what would be the next best add on for the money?

I would say switch the tune to 034 or IE for both the Ecu/TCU. Then get a lower pulley (207mm) from either company, and get a heat exchanger from mercracing. Run the stage 2 dual pulley tune. Transform the entire car

Do you feel you might get better numbers/ response with a different tune. Like unitronic, hpa,Apr ect

I think UNITRONIC will put up a fairly good fight. Can’t wait to see what they do with the hybrid turbos for the B9 S4/S5/SQ5!

@@leecook7904 I’ve seen their stage 3 cars in person. I have a video coming up tomorrow about that actually ;) IE’s and 034’s tuning is top of the line. I would go as far to say as they are both one to one. That’s just a personal opinion but definitely a qualified one.

It’s very tight but surprisingly quite comfortable at the same time! Coilovers are the way to go in my opinion.

Can I ask… what grill set did you change out to? Also is that the stock bumper or new? Looks great… was looking to do a 2023 s3 build but you have changed my mind to a 2020 sq5… just getting all my ducks in a row to have parts ready right away. Thanks in advance

RSQ5 Grille from CanAutoPerformance. Those two fog light grille’s are literally from eBay. yup stock bumper. You’re going to love the 2020 sq5 good choice man!

I’m going to be honest, I was expecting the 810 to be closer to to 700 hp. 40 more hp over the 710 with increase in turbo lag doesn’t seem worth it. Have you thought about switching to the 710 And running the car on the track to see if you would run quicker? I’m still in the air for a 710 or 810 but haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I’m waiting for more info to pop up with 810 tuning and such. I wonder if the 810 file you’re running still has a lot left in it and it’s running on the safe side right now. Maybe IE can chime in. Otherwise though, great running cars either way. Love the B9 chassis.

So the 810 is actually capable of way more power. There are sadly other limitations like the stock turbo housing being the actually choke point. The engine is at its flow limit. The entire valvetrain is barely holding on. So yes the turbo is turned down, and yes it can probably make 700+whp.

Wondering if this translates to similar pattern on 91/93 fuel or a bigger power jump from 710 to 810.

@@21sq54 We’ll see what IE’s advertised numbers are on 91/93. The 810 should way more power on pump gas compared to 710 due to less back pressure.

@@Need4Built Uggghhh. I have a 2018 that just started the dreaded 1/2RPM tick-tick from the driver's front. No glitter in the oil so I'm hoping it just dropped a rocker arm pin bearing and not ate anything. Would LOVE to see a vid if you do!

The difference in stage 1 to 2 on the s5’s with IE we’re meh.. definitely didn’t see that coming.

Yeah a little expected. Adam saw the same thing previously with his s4 when he dyno tested stage 1 vs stage 2 stuff. The real gain is the torque really. There’s even a bigger gain torque wise with stage 2+ e85.

I’d take the sq5 over ever other car that run the dyno today, without hesitation… but not to happy with the numbers. The whole point of ( ex. ) tte810 the number is supposed to be reflective of the crank number you should get, within 40-60hp-ish of the number??? So I was expecting like 705hp or something like that. Sure it’s still fast , obviously. N I’d still go stage3 allday, was just hoping for a different number.

I’ve paid for every single modification on my SQ5 at this point, so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I have more parts from other companies than I do from IE.

You V6 Audi guys are weird, the 4.2 & 4.0TT are far superior platforms and we make way more power fir less money and our cars sound and perform 1000x better.

And yet there are more v6’s in the 9’s than 4.0TT’s. Keep talking. 😆 FYI 4.2’s require insane custom work and built motors/trans to make anywhere near the power this dead stock engine/trans in the B8/B9 can do.
