@@wealthcreation5962 The way they go into the world-building of the Vampire vs werewolf/Lycan worlds and how Lycans became slaves to the Vampires before breaking away from their enslavement was really cool. Of course, Kate is insanely sexy in that series. Unfortunately, I don't see them making any more of them mostly because she's older now and vampires are not supposed to age at all from after they are turned. I did like that Selene becomes the elder she once looked up to. Ironically she killed two out of the three elders. She also didn't quite care for Emelia's rulership nor did she think that Marcus was ready to lead. She thought they needed more drastic changes.

I could never understand, since Michael was predominantly more werewolf than a vampire, why is it that he had to drink blood, technically, he should have been able to eat and digest solid foods. Now I can understand Marcus being that he was a vampire first and became a hybrid later needing to drink blood.

Lucien already rebelled against Viktor before he was forced to watched Sonja died, and he killed the vampire overseer Kosta to proved it. And speaking of Viktor, he may have superior combat training but he wasn't quick enough to react to Selene's fatal blow in time, and not even Viktor's political cunning and treachery couldn't save him from "Death" itself. And that's not true, Selene's not a hybrid when and after she consumed Alexander Corvinus's blood, she's an evolved species of vampire, a "Vampire-Corvinus Strain Evolved" if you preferred.

I don't think Marcus was a hybrid because of drinking lycan blood. I think he is pure vampire still, he just took memories from this fellow and this flying bat form is his since the beginning. No character in the series expressed surprise at seeing it, nor raised a question about it. The virus, both vampire and werewolf, are not passed through blood , but through a bite. Plenty of vampires have been covered in lycanthropy blood and ingested it to some degree; and plenty of werewolves have taken mouthfuls of vampire during battle, are they all hybrids too? Marcus is simply a gen 1 vampire , and Michael is a gen 1 werewolf. They are just unique
