HYDE, one of Japan's most prominent musicians, toured his home country, Asia, and North America in 2019; performing an impressive 80 shows for the "HYDE LIVE 2019" tour. The tour kicked off with 5 shows in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Then HYDE crossed the Pacific for a US Tour in the Spring where he performed at events like the Epicenter Festival and "Japan 2019 Presents Japan Night", opened for In This Moment, and wrapped up with a sold-out solo show in Los Angeles. In the heat of summer, HYDE went back to Japan for a 26-show headline tour that hit major cities throughout the country. As if to say he hasn't had enough of the adrenaline rush he gets from performing the heavy tracks in his ANTI album, HYDE headed back to the States for a 35-show Fall tour with Starset. The year 2019 was easily one of the most jam-packed 12-months of HYDE's 30-year musical career. And to wrap-up this exciting year, HYDE held his ANTI FINAL shows at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in front of the largest crowds of the tour as the grand finale.
HYDE LIVE 2019 became the last all-out rock concert tour that HYDE embarked on before switching gears to the socially-distanced, rules-of-the-pandemic-compliant shows of 2020 and 2021. With the hopes of going back to these high-energy shows some day soon in your hearts, follow this series of videos showcasing HYDE's ANTI FINAL performances one song at a time!

We have like 4-5 hydes out there. But possibly more. 1. Roentgen 2. 666 and Faith 3. VAMPS 4. L'arc en ciel And you still can see a difference between the hyde of 666 and faith. Faith album is more mature than 666 (and hyde was through some kind of depression at the moment). Then is also the hyde of the halloween, or the hyde guitarrist with punk en ciel, who looks very cool. And of course, the real Hideto Takarai 😚

the album version does NOT compare. His raw vocals are so fucking beautiful and haunting. Loved this song ever since i first heard it but this is the first time actually hearing the live version and omg. The live version beats any other version, hands down.

You totally got it! He actually said in interview he wanted to do this song with more distorted vocal to show the desperate feeling but the studio producer insisted to use a more calm and clearer take. I guess the live version is his true intention and complete version for this song.
