Very old and rare photos of important landmarks like Charminar, begumpet airport, Musi River, high court, Falaknuma Palace, Secunderabad and Hyderabad railway stations, Purana pul of Hyderabad city before the independence of India.
The state was ruled from 1724 until 1948 by a hereditary Nizam who was initially a Mughal governor of the Deccan before becoming independent. Hyderabad gradually became the first princely state to come under British paramountcy signing a subsidiary alliance agreement.

Adam Kunzun I was born in Hyderabad 65 years ago and my father was also born here. So I know . Nizam regarded him self as manager of the country. Never called Nawb or so. Nizam means manger or management , both.
