not particular to TS but I have seen all outstation vehicles on borders especially stopped by GOA police on routine check and not single but 2 checkings within 2-3 kms not sure what they get from tourist, and we are giving so much business to them and coming Maha police they harass a lot on borders and on highways and near naldurg fort area you should be carefull while coming towards Hyderabad

Any particular reason to circle kolhapur instead of taking 160 from 166, Sangli to sankeshwar??

NH 160 shows as NH but it is more of SH and mostly single road but if you see NH 166 is proper highway till kolhapur and it connects to NH 48 which is also 4 lane though it is under renovation but good, I find this route more good and safe

Nice video, we took the route via Sankeshwar today and indeed Road is narrow but smooth. So many sugar cane trucks will slow your momentum. Very beautiful landscape though. Road via nipani is filled with potholes

Bro, few highways are 2 lanes also NH 66 is 4 lane NH 52 is 4 lane NH 166 is 4 lane from solapur to sangli NH 166 is 2 lane and 4 lane from sangli to kolhapur NH 48 is 2 lane and 4 lane from kolhapur to sankeshwar NH 548H is 4 lane but few places no divider NH 66 is 4 lane Hope you got completed details

Best route without Ghats is by Air 😀😃😄

@Tv6722 yeah by roads we cannot escape ghats but some ghats are heavy and some are less, Amboli has less ghat section while tillari ghat is more dangerous and thrilling Below is list starting with less ghat section to heavy Amboli Ghat Chorla ghat Tinai/anmod ghat Tillari ghat
