Authentic Hyderabadi Haleem made very simple with your vahchef sanjay thumma and can be made with lamb,goat,beef,turkey,chicken
haleem is delectable meat delicacy,made particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.The traditional haleem comprises mashed goat meat, pounded wheat, lentils, spices and ghee as the main

ingredients
Mutton with bone 1000 g
Wheat 250 g
barley 100 g
chanadaal 100 g
split moong daal 100 g
red lentil 100 g
rose petals ½ cup
cardamom 10 g
cinnamon sticks (2 inch) 2 n
cloves 10 g
pepper corns 10 g
kabob chini 10 g
cumin seeds 1 ts
shahi jeera 1 ts
sesame seeds 1 ts
ginger garlic paste 75 g
turmeric ¼ ts
onions 200 g
salt to taste
green chilly 3 n
ghee ½ cup
Directions:
heat a pan add 1 tbs of ghee add whole spice, add shahi jeera, cumin seeds, dry roast them and add chana daal, moong daal, masoor daal, barley, wheat, sesame seeds, roast this and let it cool down then put them into the blender and add dry rose petals and blend this like a coarse powder.
heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add half of the whole garam masala saute it and add chopped onions, salt, saute it and add ginger garlic paste,cook this till raw flavor is gone, add green chilly , then add mutton, mix this and saute this for few minutes and add water to cover the meat and put the lid on top of the pressure cooker,and 1 whistle out then cook this in a slow flame for 1 hour.
take another pressure cooker in this add prepared coarse powder and add enough water, put the lide on and 1 whistle out then simmer the flame and cook this for 30 minutes, add more water after you open the pressure cooker, and cook the lentils till they are cooked mashed after that take potato masher and mash the lentil mixture .
take another vessels and add cooked mutton then add lentil mixture mash it once and take out the big bones and cook this for few minutes then check the consistency, more thick you can add some water then cook it for few minutes.
serve this hot

Chef Sanjay garu, I was tired of trying haleem in many restaurants in bay area, USA. None of the restaurants got the taste of hyd haleem. i tried your hyd Haleem recipe today. It just came out fantastic for the very first time itself and was easy to make. It was so yummy and my husband liked it so much. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I tried the exact same steps performed in this video and the Haleem turned to be Excellent. This is my first time making Haleem and absolutely delicious.Thanks man. I like all the videos of Vahrevah but i was under the impression that Haleem is very tedious job. But I did it watching this video.

Hands down the best haleem Recipe on KZbin!. easy tip. I remove the meat from bones and mash it separately to save time. and use wheatflour instead of wholewheat . saves time. but make sure you add all spice for perfect flavour! I used oats instead of barely.. always easy and best haleem . ❤ thanks wah chef

I prepared this several times, followed same procedure. Trust me the main important step is mashing. The more you mash and mix it, the more it tastes good. I used a dal mashing stick to beat and mix the haleem. Yummy ooohh Yummy. It tastes much better than pista house and bawarchi haleem, Thanks Vah Chef😎

I tried this recipe with 500gms of mutton...and to my utter disbelief the final dish was so good. I missed Haleem last year as I couldn't travel to Hyderabad during Ramadan nor haleem was available in my city (Pune). Now, I cannot miss haleem as I can make it on my own. Wow........amazing recipe...it went beyond the taste of hyderabadi haleem..at the beginning of preparation I just felt like m gonna waste 1kg of mutton...but once when it was ready...it tasted so well that my husband couldn't stop thanking me until his last spoon of eating...m so happy...in fact my family whole heartedly want to say thank you...👏👏👏👏👏 Keep posting such yummy recipes.

Can't wait I am trying this recipe tonight and dear folks don't eat haleem of pista house or any other places cus they are mixing lots of fat and that is not good for always try it at home like chef God vah chef did. Good luck

I had been to Hyderabad during Ramadan time and saw Haleem all over.. I am a pure vegetarian, so I asked a localite all about it.. Thanks for showing the process.. Itseems at Hyderabad they prepare it for around 12 - 13 hours.. Better luck next life :-)..

Hi ... i checked about 5 videos of preparing haleem before i bumped on to your video. I had haleem when I visited my uncle in Hyd during ramadan season back in 2000 and have had a carving for the same ever since. I must tell you that your recipe looks as if the same taste I had back then. Will try out in this sat.... and will let you know the final dish taste.! I made this haleem for 6 long hours with the exact same ingredients and it came out to be a heavenly taste which cannot be compared to any of the chains in world, just outstandingly fantastical delicacy........Food God (Vahchef) Thank you very much....no more pista or badam house.......;)
