It doesn't. It's just a concept at this time. Looks like Cardano has a good idea of what its supposed to do. Now its up to developers to make it happen. I'm sure that we'll get some roadmap for hydra by this time next year. And if past performance is any indication of future results; best case scenario you'll see it rolled out by 2025ish.

Currently there are around 35-40 researchers and engineers on this HUGE GAME-CHANGING project! It will be implemented in stages and by the end of this year it will start rolling out GRADUALLY.

No technical explanation how hydra works, at what state it is, the roadmap, how fast it currently is and how it is designed to scale, what technically is distinguishes it from its competitors eg solana etc pp. Unfortunately at least on youtube such information about hydra are missing at all. Thi could have been the chance to let us know more, unfortunately you failed here

thus far Cardano has only produced network that handles NFTS. Hardly the only player in the space. Certainly not the cheapest. The only other thing that cardano is producing is roadmaps. How about you all focus on publishing Plutus Application Backend so that we can see some real DeFi on Cardano network. Or is there a multi-year rainbow colored roadmap for that as well.
